Sarita and few other chawl ladies feel it is apshagun that Bharti’s wedding jewellery got stolen, they all contribute to buy a Gold Ring for Bharti’s wedding present .Sarita feels very guilty thy her jewellery was inside her locker when it was stolen. They seek Anupama and Bharti’s help in selection. Bharti and Anupama also feel guilty n dissuade them from incurring this expenditure . Anupama notices an exquisite necklace on display at the jewellery shop, everyone recognise the necklace as Bharti’s stolen one . Anupama probes and discovers it was Shaani’s doing . She exposes the thief during the haldi ceremony . Rajni is surprised n happy to see the stolen jewels have been recovered . After the Haldi ceremony for Varun Bharti is held with much pomp n ceremony , fun and masti , singing n dancing , Anupama weeps in despair regarding the poor character of her children n grandchildren .
Rahi is very upset regarding the Diwakar affair, Prem calms her n reassures her n they hug n share their love for one another . Diwakar watches then secretly n feels jealous of Prem hugging Rahi, he decides to get Prem out of the way so that Rahi will become his.
At Kothari mansion Vasundhara bad mouths Shah family n forbids anyone from visiting the haldi function of Bharti and Varun, Mahi bad mouths Rahi and Prem for disobeying Moti baa. They have discussions over invitations for Prarthana’s god bharayi . Moti baa is against inviting Shah family . Parag states that it’s Pra’s ceremony and she wants them to be there , for her happiness he will invite shah family .Gautam trying to claim the child as his and Mahi insists on bringing up Pra’s child . Pra arrives there n announces that shah family will be invited and without them no ritual will be done and The child belonged to Ansh and Prarthana alone ans none other than they will bring up the child. Parag warns Gautam that he has no rights on Prarthana’s child neither has Mahi so they can stay away .
