They want the sister of the rape victim to marry the rapist and reform him just because the rapist is good looking 🤢

CVs had intended to show Dev's character in comparison with Shaurya. His character had to be loved more than the looks. But then I was appalled at the rape is a mistake type attitude among some members who are girls

This is so true and so sickening.
I don't know if you all are familiar with the show saubhagyavati bhava but there was a similar situation there.

Basically the main character had an abusive marriage and she ran away from it and in due time fell in love with someone else and married him.

Would you believe people argued she should go back to the abusive husband (who was mentally unstable and tortured her in forms of electric shock, miscarriage, rape,) and called her a wh*re for remarrying another guy?

Some of these forum members sicken me

You know my mom was watching yhm,kkb

In yhm

"there was a scene where Adi tricks so that Ishita land in men's bachelor party...instead of shaguns paty...

In that scene ishitha was shown surrounded by all the men...humiliating her...some stupid dialogues too"

That day I asked my mom what are you watching...seriously this is what you say good show,...

My mom was like..."yeah I agree this time ekta went beyond"

And then she stopped watching

Same goes with kkb

In that

Oh god don't ask me

Pati patni aur woh

Seriously pragya she's ready to sacrifice her husband to tanu(girlfriend of her husband)🤣🤣🤣

In YHM that scene was to show how a young teenage boy got manipulated by his Bua's husband! If you follow YHM which you obviously don't you'll find out that that sequence was incorporated to show that teenagers need correct guidance!

YHM & Phir Bhi Naa Maane Badtameez Dil have absolutely no comparison! Us YHMians don't create topics and discuss your favourite show! To each his own! I will appreciate that you don't drag YHM in this! It doesn't have anything to do with YHM that your recent favourite show is shutting down! It's unfortunate that your show is shutting down! Therefore, I'll request you not to bring YHM in here!

If you watch YHM you'll find out how much depth and meaning each character has! Yes, due to the time slot change YHM drifted more towards drama to quench the thirst of TRP Aunties but we didn't lose our IshRa! Their love has been beautifully shown!

Sorry to see your two month old show shutting down!

Somehow for me I think Meher joining the channel knowing that Abeer works in the channel was a biggest mistake of the show.

Why do you say that?

For me that worked once we knew understood her emotional reasons... But that came so late. Maybe it would be been better to see her make the decision prospectively. Like she gets the offer... And she thinks about Kuber's words about she has no identity of her own etc. We see her hesitate and then Abeer says something on the show that makes her go ahead.

Honestly, I think the biggest problem was that we were left in the dark for too long about the character motivations. By the end of the first month the audience should've had a better understanding of what happened between them. But they spun their wheels a lot especially the whole month of August. There were things that happened that didn't really move the plot forward.

@fero thanks a lot yaar for the entertaining posts. Its sad you are quitting india forums. I had hoped we might meet in some other forum.
All the others who have participated in this discussion a big thank you to all of you. It has been entertaining and gave many insights.
We can hope that things will change. But for that first the literate people has to change, they have to change the attitude, they have to understand what is right what is wrong.
We are the generation that is going to hold the fingers of the future generation. What do we want them to do. Talking about sanskaars is not going to work with the next generation. We have to walk the talk.By our actions we have to tell them what is right, what is wrong. And that includes in practice saying no to soaps that show non sanskaari things.
Maybe we might lose out on entertainment things a bit, but that is the price we have to pay so that after 20 years we don't have to lament why my son did this or why my daughter do that. A strong family foundation with the right values can keep our children safe from many dangers.

For me I felt if Meher came to the channel knowing that Abeer was working there then she should have been ready for all the drama from Abeer. Facing Abeer I left she was not shown strong enough character. She kept blaming why Abeer was doing that. IF you are going stand in front of an hungry Lion then you should have the strength to escape from it too. I loved the show but somewhere I felt it could not keep me hooked on to it for longtime. Somehow Abeer's character was what made me watch the show and the bonding of Suman and Madhavi.
This just my opinion .
