Okay folks...here is the post for today...

There is one thing commendable about the "Royals" . They never sit down and let destiny decide what is in store for them...they all, get up and do everything possible to write their own destiny...

Take for example...Rajmata...

She has decided which way the destiny will go for the kingdom by taking every step possible to ensure that Ranaji is not dethroned because of the monitory pressure on the royal family...and if he doesn't want to do it through taxes ...then he will just have to do it by marrying some one that will fix the issue.

Ranaji...

The reason why he is squirming is exactly because...Rajmata has put him in a position where he can't write his own destiny in this matter...he is like a wounded lion who wanted to sit down and lick his wounds after his wife's death...and now is he trapped ...and he is pacing around some times in anger and sometimes with a more human trait of saracasm...to express frustration...

Kuwar chacahji...

He has decided that he will write his own destiny to become the king and is taking every step to make sure that happens...be it making alliance with the Brits, to trying to kill RNJ...you name it...

Kokila...

The women of royal family are as strong and as much of a warrior as the men...Kokila is not one to sit quiet...she does not shy away from challenging her own husband that she will be the one who will conquer and write their destiny...of course her husband is equally competitive to tell her that he will be the one who will succeed...

Well Gayatri may not have been born into royalty ...but she has the equal conviction, courage and guts to write her own destiny...she doesn't sit and wait for her Prince Charming...once she sees him...she goes where he is...writes a letter...is not afraid to tell the fake seer back...she will write her own destiny and is not intimidated by her doomsaying talks...Even runs after her to unveil her facade...

But what makes Gayatri most endearing is her ability to also be the one who genuinely cares for people...the little part where she cares for Rajmatas wound was really sweet...

But the sweetest of all things in the entire episode was...Gayatri asking Kaliman to please take care of "her Ranaji", and protect him from harm...she adores him so much...that looking through her eyes...you too want ...what she wants...Really enjoying RAGA as a couple...as seen through Gayatris eyes!!

Of course Gayatri...running into badi rani mas arms was the highlight...

Perhaps it was symbolic...Badi Ranima was the protector...ha ha...in a normal soap...that would have been the job of the ML...to save the damsel in distress from goons...a scene that has been done infinite number of times...I liked the twist...

I also like how the makers are sending a social message about "bad omens" that have been used to manipulate people and exploit them...

Both the mothers...Gaytris mom and Rajmata are quite impressive in how they are confidently disregarding all the illusion...and can see through it...

I just typed the whole post on old post Sush. Let me copy paste here.

Nice collages Shweta 👏 and SUsh I too liked the badi rani ma and Gayatri's milan. Nice and apt analysis👏

Which era is this show from. Pre independence right and kudos to have such strong character as Gayatri👏 👏 She does not believe in bad omen👍🏼 and believes in hard work over destiny, love conquers all and is shown as courageous.

One of the few shows where the leads are actually shown having brains and they are using it⭐️

Gayatri soothing raj mata's pain was so adorable. We also witnessed that rajmata is a real strong lady. Even after burning her fingers she did not even hiss.😃

All the hard work of ullu gang is somehow going out the window😆

Gayatri going to temple for mental peace and asking ma's help to keep omen at bay but usually after applying haldi aren't brides and groom not supposed to venture out?😕 She is going to be a queen so how come she went alone to temple without any one from home? One would think that her mother would be on her back to ensure that this time there are no hiccups of amy kind.

Against all the odds seems like this wedding will be done.

I am not liking too much use of the apsukan here. After a while its getting repeatative.

DD rocked today yet again.

DD's belief and ullu's failure i can only think of this one

PS- I am travelling so will not be here for while.

Gayatri does what she feels is right...and doesn't care much about what is customary or expected!

What a refreshing change!!

The "boldness" with which they are sending a social message about the "bad omens" is remarkable. After all, these are all fake and orchestrated to manipulate ...they should be fully discarded ...As Bush would say...Make no mistake about it!! 😃

For once we have such forward thinking show unlike the previous ones where bride was selected by some snake or the famous coal walking

Great post Sush and Lovely Collages Di!

Gayatri is a very innocent character she did almost fall into the Chachi's trap. But I guess her naivety and vulnerability is what sets her apart from other characters in the show that are ALL very street smart. Some put it to constructive and positive use. Some use it to try to satisfy their own greeds. But everyone besides her is very sharp. I like her determination to set out at night despite the odds. She fights for what she wants. She doesnt believe in bad omens. I loved her lecture to the witch in disguise. Way to go to Gayatri. The way she tried to physically stand up to those guys by pushing them and running. Another way to go Gayatri.

The precap, very interesting! Badi Rani Ma doesnt like to endorse anything western.

I'm loving sushpective btw.
I so agree with your explanation of Ranas behaviour.Hes hurt ,frustrated ,feels betrayed and utterly helpless.So he's irrational,moody and momentarily emotionally unstable but he's still as shrewd as his mother.
Its about time chachaji realizes that he and his family are fit to be royal comedians than to sit on the throne.Each time his plans fail with a different twist.That man ,his wife,henchman and son all seem to be on the crazy or clumsy end of the spectrum.
