That's my point! After being raped, there is no way that she would be willing to engage in a physical relationship with her husband. And after being so heavily betrayed by Karan, I don't see how she can emotionally invest herself in a new relationship. She's just not ready, so please let's not rush into this.

Marriage is not the only solution for a rape victim.
