Preparations are on for the Haldi ceremony. Kokila plans to ruin it. She adds some liquid to the haldi mix unknown to anyone, which will burn when it comes in contact with skin. Ranaji prays at a lakeside. Kunwar chachaji's henchman digs a pit and covers it with some grass as a means to kill Ranaji. Rajmata arrives at Gayatri's house for the haldi.Kokila gloats over what would happen.
Ranaji continues with his prayers and some holy priests chant mantras. Thread ceremony is done.Meanwhile, Rajmata gives Gayatri a very expensive necklace and adds that her journey as a Queen has begun. Kokila looks enviously. Panditi asks Ranaji to begin his Kashi yatra which means that Ranaji will pretend to go to Kashi (a place) and the others will implore him not to go. It's a marriage tradition.
Rajmata is about to apply the haldi but she feels her hand burning when she holds it and hesitates. She calls Kokila and asks her to follow traditions and start applying the haldi first . Ranaji meanwhile is still walking and approaches the pit. Lakshraj keeps asking him not to go as per tradition but Chachaji goads him to go on. Suddenly Laksharaj moves faster and falls in! Ranaji and Chacha hold his hand just in time and pull him out and saves him.
Kokila comes forward. Her nervousness is visible as she holds the Haldi pot. She drops it suddenly in her hurry and it burns her toes. Rajmata asks her the reason for her screams. Meanwhile, Ranaji asks Chacha why he is terrified about the pit and lifts the leaves again and everyone see the sword down with its pointed end up. He tells Chachaji that his efforts have gone down in vain and he is shocked and asks how! Ranaji says his protection was his duty as well. Chacha feigns innocence. Govindseth is happy that he is safe and adds that this trap was for him. He wonders who must be behind this.
Ranaji asks Kunwar chachaji who would be behind this to which he replies that it must be the English and asks him not to leave that person for what he did. Just then the henchman is caught and brought forward and Ranaji reveals how he had asked his soldiers to keep an eye on everyone. The soldier says he saw the henchman entering and he has now confessed to everything except for who put him up to it. Ranaji asks him to confess!
Precap shows Kokila disguised as an old lady cursing Gayatri if she agreed to the marriage. Some men run after Gayatri and to escape from them, she knocks at a carriage door which she sees nearby. It turns out to be Ranaji's grandmother. Gayatri hugs her!
