Yesterday Manoj said "pehle ke tests unclear the" and maintained that the pregnancy stick test confirms Ishita's pregnancy..
OF COURSE Ishita was on top of the world. She couldn't believe her luck...and the joy coming her way...a joy which seemed totally impossible days ago (heck, I STILL cant get my head around this medical 'miracle' but well such is life, such is YHM's shitty consistency with its own tracks😕)
For a woman branded as a barren woman by the society at large, and to have crossed that hurdle (however the same may have come to happen in the first place) is nothing short of miracle. This is the moment we ALL had been waiting for...the first flush of happiness, disbelief, JOY and absolute BLISS on Ishita's face...the feeling of carrying a tiny life inside her womb...the nanoseconds slipping by like hours as the feeling sunk in...its all too emotional..and rightfully so. For a few moments I was carried away by the impact of THAT ONE MOMENT - the moment when Ishita broke down in joy...releasing her pent-up tears...her insecurities...frustrations...recalling each and every person around her and their reactions to her situation. The first in line was Ruhi's blessings on her during Mata ki Chowki, then Subbu's mom calling her a baanjh and saying Ishita had no option in life...Shagun taunting her a few days ago saying she couldn't ever be a mother, but could definitely be an Aaya...Raman standing by her side and giving her hope that there were chances she COULD be one...Ruhi telling Shravu that her Ishima will give her a chhota baby...
All of it - the fear, anxiety, hope, hurt, retribution, vindication, EVERYTHING came crashing down. No matter how MUCH I hated this convoluted pregnancy, DT's acting made me sit up and notice this ONE moment. It was as if Ishita was being REWARDED for something she had waited and toiled so hard (never mind we wanted a realistic portrayal of infertility treatment and all). I will give it to DT for this ONE moment. Hats off!👏 DT is a FABULOUS, FABULOUS actress...else, HOW CAN THIS 'MIRACLE' OUT-OF-THE-WORLD PREGNANCY BE JUSTIFIED?
And then once this magical moment passed us by and Ishita got up to give this news to the others in the family, Manoj pounded his medico-gavel and warned Ishita that its the initial stage and so its better if she gives it time and lets it sink in first...I firmly believe in it myself, except the shit he said 2 seconds later, "Humein kuch AUR tests karne honge confirm karne ke liye"
I mean - WHAT TESTS IS HE GOING ON DOING YAAR?? ISKE TESTS TOH KHATAM HI NAI HOTE!😡 The other day the tests weren't clear, yest the pregnancy stick made everything clear and today again MORE tests were to needed to clarify what supposedly could not get clarified yest. IF ONE MORE TIME HE SAYS "AUR TESTS KARNE HONGE" Im gonna throw something at him😡
Now, what actually RUINED my mood thereafter was Ruhi's adult talk with Manoj, "Dekha maine kaha tha Ishima ko baby ho sakta hai" It was annoying. Again. 😡
I was happy and wanted to really LIVE Ishita's moment of bliss...but as expected she ran to Ruhi and credited her with everything...calling Ruhi her "pari" her guardian angel and everything...she deep down believed it was Ruhi's initiation that gave her hope that she could be a mother again. Fair enuff. That's sentimentality and Ishita-Ruhi bond speaking from the rooftops...and am overwhelmed and all...but I WISH she'd have thought of Raman as well...how HE was the one who first contacted his friend abroad and got her reports done and all..saying there were chances she COULD become a mother. I SO WISH she'd have remembered that it was Raman who was bold enuff to HOPE for the same...Ruhi has no understanding of how a woman's body works...her INSISTENCE at having Ishima's baby was prolly nothing more than a childish stubbornness, an immature bid to HAVE SOMETHING at any cost.
I read some of the posts on the forum yest, where people have written Ruhi's insistence at having Ishita conceive was to remove the ugly stain of 'baanjh' from her person...I refuse to believe that...Ruhi has, no doubt DEFENDED her mother to the hilt whenever any mean bitch (Subbu's mom, mostly) has taunted Ishita for the same..but its stupidity to assume Ruhi has been carrying around this notion in her head ALL THIS WHILE AND HENCE WANTS ISHITA TO CONCEIVE. Really. Its tomfoolery. Ruhi got or WILL get what she wanted and there has been no mention of, "Ishima ab aapko koi bura nai bolega " or anything of that sort. So that kinda settles the matter.
So sentimentality aside, I DEARLY WISHED Ishita would've credited Raman as well for this 'miracle'. I was sad and disappointed that it didnt happen that way😕 Ishita said, "Kaise kar lete ho aap yeh sab?? Aap mere saath yeh sab kaise kar lete ho?" "Aapki Ishima Mamma nai ban sakti thi...aapne doosri baar mamma banaya" Ruhi only thought of praying when the test results turned to be negative...technically, Raman was the one who was STILL AT IT, even when he knew Ishita's condition..and anyway, he had done the deed pehle hi😆😆😆
Poor Raman...he did the MAJORITY of the work and he gets NO CREDIT😆 That too, he technically made Ishita 'Mamma' for the FIRST time, and no credits in his name...sorry, I sound so mean and godknowswaht. but CANT HELP IT😕
THE ONLY OTHER GOOD PART IN THE EPISODE WAS RAMAN'S REACTION...When Ishita broke the news to him, at his office.
Initially when she told him about the tests, he refused to listen further, saying, "Jo cheez tumhen dukhegi, main uske baare mein sunna nai chahta"...so sweet...he had already assumed Ishita would feel rejected again, and so he was not even willing to HEAR what she was saying...and wasting no time, she clamped a hand on his mouth and told him loud and clear "Test results positive aaye hain Raman" "Main pregnant hun" "Hamara baccha mere pet mein hain"
Raman looked motionless for a second. Poor guy...shock pe shock mil raha hai use 2 dinon se..couldn't even process how EFFECTIVE he was for his wife😆 After a few seconds, he released a sheepish smile...of happiness..and again, DISBELIEF...they both stood at a distance from each other...surveying each other, confirming if this really HAS happened..and then came closer...hugged, gushed...then moved apart...surveyed each other...and hugged each other again...it was cute...but I was expecting something MORE...I dunno...it connected to me, not as a whole though...just in bits and parts...Was it because KP didnt look too INTO it? I mean, given the pregnancy just SPRUNG up out of nowhere...?? I dunno...khair, it was the BETTER part of the episode...though it had CRAZY potential!
I for one, was BLINDED by DT's heartwarming smile...a genuine, BLESSED smile...it kind of obliterated EVERYTHING from my view👏
The best part was - Raman had started thinking of what all he was going to do for the newborn...sending him/her abroad for studies...securing his future...being the bestest parents they can for him/her...
I liked it when he gushed to her, "I love you" No matter how many times he says IT, my heart turns into jelly...
and then he immediately made her sit on a chair...asking her to rest...telling her she wont be going to work, doing anything...she will simply take care of herself and the baby and rest...he will do all the necessary research...
He seemed over the moon. He didnt want to take any chances. 😊 If the CVs dont rush thru the preg track, then I'd like them to take us thru this combined journey together...of Raman caring for Ishita...even the littlest things..and their Mohabbatein growing steadily.
And then he sat down calmly and asked in detail, what Dr.Manoj said...Ishita was gesticulating excitedly...describing to him each moment as it passed by...from start to finish...
this scene was quite good.
Annoying bits of the episode😡 - Shagun somehow, as usual "heard" some of the nurses positively GUSHING about how a little girl Ruhi stomped inside the hospital and made the doctor check her mother again...saying she can conceive...instead of scoffing at what an incompetent and idiotic doctor Paul actually is, the nurses were wondering about what a miracle it was that the lady turned out to be pregnant...ab kya kahun batao??😲
Shagun looked like she won a lottery of around a half a million dollars or something...and her whole life became totally insured..WOH ISHITA AUR RAMAN SE ZYADA KHUSH LAG RAHI THI...It was so ANNOYING to see her behave as if she was IshRa baby's godmother or something😡
She was so jubilant that she barged into Paul's cabin and hugged him and kissed him on the cheek..
I mean...yeh kya hai...Raman aur Ishita ke GAAL WALE PUPPY ke liye we waited AGES..and we get to see Shagun and Paul's gaal wala puppy in barely two weeks??!!
Paul flirted some with Shagun, she gave some typical Bollywood heroine-ish dialogues...said there's nothing she cant do better than him...he kissed her back on her cheek and said, "isse better karke dikhao" or something like that...she acts outraged...and calls him sick and disgusting and other names aplenty...takes her bag and rushes out ..
and once she is out ..she touches her cheek where Paul had kissed her...and smiles to herself..like a freakkin teenager... Bas. Ab yahi din dekhna baki reh gaya.😕 In less than a month's time we will see them madly in love or something. But how the HECK does it concern US?? Like WHY do we have to see this??
The nonsense doesn't end there..Ashok too has landed in the same hospital, to get a health checkup done...I was wondering- First, how and WHY is he out on bail?? I mean, are there NO COMPUNCTIONS for criminals AT ALL??😡 Second, how come ALL the friends and enemies and exes and rivals and future lovers congregate at the SAME HOSPITAL??
Third, WHY HAS ISHITA'S PREGNANCY BECOME NATIONAL NEWS?😡😡😡
Ashok sees Shagun running out in a filmy style, and Paul in a very Devanand-ish way calling her "Ruhi, Ruhi"..and uska maatha khanakta hai..he goes in and shares some unsolicited advice and info...saying its Shagun Arora..his ex-mistress blah blah
Paul gets angry and asks him to get out (in less than 2 minutes Paul has started falling for Shagun aka Ruhi) ...
and positively throws Ashok out.
Ashok comes out. Manoj walks out with a file in hand. ISHITA's pregnancy test report falls to the ground. Ashok sees it and decides he will create havoc in Bhalla parivaar again. And lo and behold! In less than an hour, the whole world will have known Ishita is pregnant. Why YHM CVs, why?? Why cant there be some semblance of PRIVACY between the couple?? When they had sex, the whole world go to know...when they confessed their love half a bunch of morons were standing nearby and cheering them on..and now THIS😡
As for RomiKa...Sarika wants to study further and get an MBA...Romi seems to be happy with the same..Toshi has a sense of foreboding regarding the same, since she feels it isnt right if the wife is more qualified than the husband...it might create ego issues between them later...Romi brushes off her concerns and says nothing of that sort will happen.
I will not completely quash Toshi's concerns, coz in many marriages and relationships, it DOES happen...but not if BOTH the parties know how to navigate their relationship. The yardstick of the quality of a relationship should be same and BOTH should agree to it. If its qualifications that matter, then both the parties need to be clear about it. Nai toh problems ho sakti hain. This seems to be quite a realistic track...since it seeks to discuss modern husband-wife relationships where women are emerging to be stronger, smarter, better educated and all of that. Good one CVs👏
PRECAP - Manoj had categorically told both Ruhi and Ishita not to share the news with anybody in the family YET. Ruhi screamed out "Ishima pregnant hain" on the dining table. Everyone looks shocked. I felt Raman was the only one who looked slightly pissed off.
And too right he SHUD be. What's with Ruhi talking pregnancy and stuff liek that?😡 She needs to be taught some MANNERS baba!! Scandalous, it was! Announcing her mother's pregnancy like it was some prize distribution ceremony!
P.S.Yes CVs we know Ruhi is Ishita's greatest BLESSING and will always be. But could we have her, Raman and Ruhi as a UNIT please? Like the three of them couldn't be without each other? Like even Ishita couldn't be without Raman who is as much her angel as Ruhi is😉 Sorry, am advocating for Raman's 'rights'...but somebody's gotta you know😉😛😆
