In this all I can say is, Yes they are in love but hasn't realized it yet at least Rey and it's his journey to realize what she truly means to him. As story will progress their love will be more visible.

They both exit the shop, with shopping bags in their hands. Taani held his hand and dragged him toward the shop on the other side.
"Reyaansh." They both stopped when they heard someone's voice. He turned around, and found his father, Ranvijay walking toward them.
"I heard, you got selected in team?" Rnavijay asked him, he narrowed his eyes when he saw taani there, with his son. He never liked that girl, in his eyes she is the one who had forced Rey to not to joining their business. Rey gave a curt nod to his father, confirming the news.
"Though, its useless to hope something from you but still I Hope you will not disappoint the team like you had disappoint your family." Ranvijay told him. His tone told him, how displeased his father is, with this news of him joining Indian cricket team.
"Uncle, if you can't encourage him then please, don't discourage his also." Taani said to his father, she could see the sadness in Rey's eyes, It infuriate her.
"It's our personal matter, you stay out of it, girl." Ranvijay snapped at her, his anger raised when he saw his son glaring at him.
"Taani, Lets go." Rey hold her hand and dragged her away from there before taani could retort back. She can never tolerate his insult. She glance at him, he looked okay from outside but she knew, from inside he is broken, once again. Every time his father question him & his ability, it hurt him deeply & badly. How much he try he can never forget that his own father has no trust in his. Think of him as loser who can't do anything.

"Rey, open the door, damn it." Taani shouted from outside, banging the door of their bedroom. After they returned back home, he had locked himself up in room. After some time, Door creaked open, revealing him, there he stood, his eyes blood shot red. Taani threw her arms around him and hugged him tightly.
"Rey, please, don't let other's words effect you. You know that, i trust you so does our selection team, thats why they selected you, among those thousands of players. Don't lose trust over your self. My buddy is strong, show your family that you can be successful in whatever you want to do." Taani spoke, knowing what he must be going through at this moment.
Rey hugged her more tightly, her words act like a soothing balm over his bruised heart. He inhaled in her fragrance, calming his nerves. She doesn't need to do anything else, she just held him in her arms and made him forget his every pain. Her presence has a calming effect over him. He can never spent a moment without her. He is addicted her to her. Attracted to her like a moth to fire.
He realized, he needs her her, only. No one..no one else matters to him till she is here, beside him. He didn't felt hurt anymore over his father's words, all he could see was her undying trust in him, It gave him much needed strength. Rey hugged her tightly, thanking his stars for giving him someone like her, in his life.
She is understanding. She is his only need.
