We YHM viewers don't like the drama, but during the juice crap - other shows had more to offer for other viewers. The juice crap wasn't OTT when you compare it to what we saw during the Sautan Sagas, when they were high in the charts. Even though it was overly female centric, I personally didn't mind the juice track bc it still keep the show positive unlike now where this a weird vibe.

Idk I mean I agree that the original audience who watches doesn't appreciate illogical crap but from what I've seen first hand, TRP aunties generally watch the most catchy thing on TV.

As for the romance - goodness knows why we don't get one actual mushy gushy chotusa scene even once a week?

We can agree to disagree on the cause for the change, but I think everyone wants to see the show actually live up to the claim that it's mature. It's tiring to see so many tracks end poorly or other tracks hit rocky waters before they start.

I totally agree with you about them rushing...idk if it's to keep Shagun in or to just up the drama factor.

If this type of rushing, which we have seen many times before, is what they do to 2 weeks of being out of the top 5 coupled with their major desire to be #1 during the month long Shagun Shaadi crap...then I have little hope. They are competing with OTT, melodramatic shows with near useless ML, all powerful but suffering FL, & ridiculous tracks...& in their desire to reclaim the top 5, who knows what we'll see. I want to have faith in SP but idk if it'll be there this time.

It's a pity we never got a honeymoon track while their love & desire for each other was at it's height & while we don't know how this pregnancy track will play out, it sucks to see a beautiful & promising topic be potentially cheapened for TRPs.

It's fine though for them bc from previous history of desi shows, tracks with lots of drama that "push the boundaries" sell...so I can't even blame them bc they are catering to what most people apparently like to watch.

Meh maybe I'm just being too negative or that I'm just so turned off if she is actually pregnant after 2 weeks of being intimate with her husband. *sigh*

You are not the only one turned off by this quick pregnancy. I do think most fans who have been watching from the beginning wanted more out of this track than seeing ishita getting pregnant straight away. It saddens me that there is so much potential but we are not seeing it on screen.

People have given the show enough chances and in the end trp will go down like it happens for every other show. I am not sure how much trp audiance like ott drama for this show because they had logical yet subtle drama before and it made them popular than but there is something called expectation and continuity, which they lack on. Sudden change in tracks without much thought put in to it, it is a messthey can continue to risk it but it's going to be a struggle to bring it up again. People have lost faith, no trp, no fanbase and they have nothing to keep them on air.

agreed bt for yhm if u compared then u ll see logical track with bit romance garnered more trp than illogical melodrama.sautan saga didn't got huge rating bt that time yhm was on top.even when Adi shagun entered in bhalla house trp decreased continuously for almost 5 weeks (hope u also remember mihika verma interview) even actors know that ppl like yhm how it is bt CVS r mad they didn't get it.even trp aunty also expect some logic from yhm as many trp audience has in my house.when yhm show any Ott drama they change channel and watch ssk by saying that if I had to watch drama then I ll watch ssk.as I said before ppl have different expectations from different shows
