I wish they were more cute romance btw the lead pair but it's ok, I like how their story was simple & mature the highlight of the drama was definitely the brothers' story, cute-touching-painful, loved their bromance. The fact that it was slow yet precise & intriguing with each cases's without being 2 much predictable was probably the best part of the plot itself, the approach was different from the other thrillers/detective dramas.

Coming 2 the ratings, these days unfortunately as many said koreans only like fairytales story & high societies 1 like Mask, High Society...I hv ntg against those dramas btw I like the 1st epi of Mask (many recommended it)...Maybe if they aired IRY on MBC, JTBC or even OCS it would had better ratings anyways glad 2 c that foreign viewers enjoyed the drama.

Lots of psychos but u can't really hate the characters as actors r doing a gr8 job right? 😆

I'm really glad & proud of Seo In Guk, big fan of him & he's such versatile actor, he deserves lots of awards 4 his performance, same goes 2 the guy who played Min. 👍🏼

Coming 2 the end, lots of unanswered questions, it would hv been gr8 if they did a special sequel episode. Coz most of all we don't know what LH did after he disappeared, Min's final choice even though we can guess it...Special mention 2 the wonderful Remember OST, overtime I listen 2 it I hv stars & reminds me of Min. 😭

This really gave me vibes of I hear your voice & the thriller drama Reset & Gap Dong, a must watch if u like thrillers/detective dramas. 😉

The dumb cops thing kept me bothering me ..but chalo leave it we can't do anything in that case right? and i really loved the way they handled the romance and bromance ..even though the romance was pretty much in a low key never the less it was adorably beautiful and bromance ..do we really need to talk about it ???isn't it a fact that it was just A-M-A-Z-I-N-G? min and hyun had such a such bonding and chemistry ..it is easily going to be on top of my best bromances list .

and about ratings thing yup i feel the same..i really hate how in Korea a fairytale filled with full angst can anytime win over such awesome thriller dramas like seriously ..what so great about this angst and heart breaks???😕😕 but hey this story has angst too(expect here it is between brothers)??..may be a better promotions might had helped.

And about gukkie ..i totally loved how different this role is from his previous dramas..i'm so proud of him for taking up such a awesome drama and gave it his best ..and man bo gum looks no where near like a psycho(okay neither does any of these guys ) ..but boy he really convinced me with his acting ..those split sec expression changes he did were just awesome ..these two together made me cry buckets ..woo young did a great job too... his character was a good surprise for me i never though he will turn out to be the same guy who was play by DO in the first epi .(okay you can call me dumb for that ..but i really didn't see that coming )

i like to mention about Nara's character ji an too..i like how romance wasn't the only thing in her life .. she had lots more to do ..and that what made me like her more..i love all her little bad ass moment and how much of a support system she was to him

And about the ending ...boy it was messy ..lots of unanswered question ..but well that was fine ( i think) consider the fact that it was live filming and nara got into accident during the filming ..on whole i love how the show kept me on edge for most of the times..all those complicated character ..complex criminal ..pitch prefect story line ..awesome casting and..dumb cops (ya that too 😆😆) were all promising ...the show easily bang on as the best psychopathic thriller of the year .

PS: am i the only one who liked the working title "Hello Monster "of this series more than IRY ??

I did find the IRY title more fitting as the story progressed, but I wonder whether the show could have had slightly better ratings if it had stuck to the original title of Hello Monster, as IRY makes it sound like a melodrama, while HM sounded more intriguing.😒

@Riya: well that's what ..when i first about this project the title was what made the show sound new, different and intriguing...i wonder if a title would really effect the show rating ..i mean korean love melodramas ,angst feast and fairytales so much that such awesome dramas are rarely loved and appreciate...but you might be right..who knows!!
