Prologue...

"Ishita wait...!" Raman shouted from behind. But Ishita was in no mood to listen to him. She had it enough. This was the limit. She had thought him to be her true friend, maybe someone more special. But no! That man doesn't deserve her friendship; let alone her love... she was feeling suffocated and needed to get out of this place as soon as possible.

"Ishita meri baat toh suno... look it's not like that, you are getting it all wrong..." Raman said as he tried to meet her pace. But no man, she was as furious as a raging bull. No one can stop her now! But he can't let her go... he has to stop her and clear out the misunderstandings. Finally he managed to reach out to her and grabbed her wrist.

"Leave me, Raman..."

"No I will not! At least listen to me first... give me a chance..."

"Mere ko kuch nahi sunna Raman... I don't need to give you any chance... aakhir hoon kaun main aapki...kyu aap mujhe clarifications de rahe hai...aakhir rishta kya hai humara... kuch bhi nahi!"

(I don't want to listen anything Raman. I don't need to give you any chance... who am I? Why are you giving me clarifications...What is our relation? Nothing)

"Oh.. toh tum nahi jaanti ki humara kya rishta hai...tum nahi jaanti ki tum mere liye kitni ahem ho...Tum kaise sab kuch bhul sakti ho?!" he shouted as the dam of his patience was broken by her words.

(Oh.. so you don't know what our is relation? You don't know how important you are for me. How can you forget everything?)

"Main bhuli hoon.!? Mr Raman Kumar Bhalla apni yaadash pe zara zor dale... yeh sawaal mujhe aapse karna chahiye... Aap samajh te kya hai mujhko? Main baaki ladkiyon ki tarah nahi hoon jo aapke chaaro aur ghoomti rehti hai... main koi cheez nahi hoon ki jab tak mann kiya use kiya aur phir discard kar diya.! Meri bhi self-respect hai..."

(I have forgotten? Mr Raman Kumar Bhalla, put some strain on your memory.. I should be one asking this question... What do you think of me? I am not like other girls who move around you every time. I am not a toy with whom you can play/use and then, discard it! I have my self-respect)

She shouted at the top of her voice as new tears made their way from her eyes. Raman reached out to wipe her tears but she moved away. He calmed himself and tried again, softly, "Ishita... just listen to me, it's not like that. Tumhe puri baat nahi pata hai!"

(Ishita just listen to me.. its not like that you don't know the complete matter..)

"Mujhe jitna janna tha maine jaan liya hai... isse aage na main kuch jaanti hoon aur na he janna chahti hoon...Good bye and good luck!" she said in between her sobs.

(I know everything I should know.. Neither know anything after this nor do I wish to know.. good bye and good luck)

She freed her hand from his grip and turned away to never look back again. Raman couldn't do anything but see her go away from his life forever. It started to rain heavily drenching him completely. Even the sky was crying out his heart as they parted their ways. Raman, unable to take it anymore, collapsed on his knees and let his tears mix with the drops of rain...
