Bajrangi Bhaijaan is on the verge of crossing of Dhoom in US / Canada and becoming the second highest grosser in the circuit. The film has business of $8.03 million after its sixth weekend while Dhoom 3 grossed $8.09 million at end of its run. Bajrangi Bhaijaan grossed $67k in its sixth weekend so it should add enough in the next few days to go past Dhoom 3.
The film will remain behind PK which grossed $10.58 million but it is a game changer as far as Salman Khan releases in US / Canada are concerned. His films like Kick and Ek Tha Tiger have done pretty well in the recent past but we have to go way back to Hum Saath Saath Hain and Hum Aapke Hain Kaun for the blockbuster films in US / Canada.
Hum Saath Saath Hain was in 1999 and is still the fifth highest Salman Khan grosser in US / Canada. The margin of how bigger Bajrangi Bhaijaan is compared to the rest can be seen here. The gap is a huge $5.25 million with a bit more to come.
