ive seen a lot worse on this forum when it comes to my country and religion bashing and nobody gives moral lectures then because everybody is selfish on this forum. They treat this discussion forum as a playground. So I shall too.

first of all, if a member has mocked at your prophet here, then its condemnable, if i was active on this forum that time i would have definitely condemned it. then again there are many of your co-religionists who mock hindu gods and their way of worship here, it goes two ways.( go through PK threads on this forum).

Speaking objectively..Saif ali khan did not decry pakistan cus of its involvement in terrorism.. His outburst was about his movies getting banned and that a person wanted in the world got it banned... If the strategy was to get foot falls into the theater... his comments would be more fiery, jingoistic and provocative ..his action would be to raise nationalistic fervor in INDIANS ..so that they give a peep but looking at it... it seems to have had boomranged..So my question remains ..was this one off blunder by the egg head or a poorly concieved strategy that did not work..

Another question is..if this was the move by UTV and nadiadwala..they would have quickly moved to douse the fire... alienating pak nationals from Europe, Atlantic zone would not be on their agenda... Anyways..Thats my thinking based on what I have and that is not a lot..😊

People dont really go watch jingoistic movies these days. Movies work primarily on trailers, buzz and starcast. This movie had no buzz. Now it has some. I dont think they are bothered too much about Pakistanis when it comes to this movie. Btw Katrina, Kabir Khan have also spoken like Saif. Kabir even said he hopes his country will protect him. Buzz is created when articles spew out incessantly on/about the movie in the newspapers, websites, TV ads but in this case I got inundated with what Katrina thinks and speaks (news papers), a still of phantom tucked somewhere in the site and nothing else... The only place where it is active is on twitter.. Just one platform's activity does not constitute a buzz IMO... Anyways.. its being released.. and what Saif said or did is moot.. lets just await the verdict...

Kabir's comment was brought about by the fact that a terrorist could go to court and get the movie banned. Said he knows the guy can get him killed and he hopes his nation protects him.
