Yes, yes forumwaasion...one more mad post from a crazed fangirl! I was just so delighted to pick up the Gulf News Tabloid today, and see Barun Sobti smiling at me from the cover...wah! It was more than mind-blowing. I do remember a time when people laughed when someone on this forum made an edit of Barun and Sanaya in the famous Star Parivar event pose...and modeled it into a magazine cover. How many of you remember that? At that point detractors laughed and said, what an imagination...can you believe TV stars on the cover of Country Homes or Good Living...hmm...memory fails which magazine it was now! Anyway, my point is...here we are in 2015, with Barun Sobti's charm unleashed in full, and Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? Reloaded...in Arabic...to an audience that seems as besotted as we all were back in 2011 and 2012...and still are! Unbelievable.

And, this Gulf News story, for those of you who haven't seen it, hit all the right spots...the interviewer, asked a few pertinent questions...what moved me was the question about what made the show a success according to him, and what it was like working on the show...lovely hearing they had a 12 hour party everyday...it was so much fun! You could feel the winsome Sobtian charm and sincerity in everything he said...loved also that he acknowledged he and Sanaya were such a good looking couple...with chemistry to boot!

Anyway, enough of the rambling. If you have not seen it, check out the interview...as for me, I am saving this edition of the Tabloid! ...to show my grand children...in about a decade and some...😆😳

Anupama, I can imagine the thrill it must be to have Sobti's magic appreciated in your Desh. A further affirmation of our faith in his talent. It's been such a "Sukhi" few days being inundated with his images and down to earth thoughts

Thanks Ruchi, and also thank you for being the sole person to have commented after 250 odd people actually viewed that person...haha...zindagee...anyway, the thrill of the thing is too much...would you believe I actually have a few friends here now from IF, we all came together thanks to Mr. Raizada and IPK and their two or three events in Dubai...isn't it amazing that a common passion...even a TV show...can actually unite so many disparate souls?!

Anyway, next time will make a point of being there...Asli duniya gayee jhaad mein, as NK would have said!

Thanks for sharing the article. I know the feeling of seeing Mr. Raizada in the cover of a newspaper and then jumping up and down in excitement much to the shock of my parents.😆
Well I wasn't present here when the show was running originally (I know I have missed so much) but the craze still remains.😃

I can feel the excitement all the way in New York and I can't help but smile being in awe. Our hero in your country must be such a surreal experience and definitely one to cherish for lifetime. A true phanki indeed, kash he would come to Ameerka so I can get a glimpse of our favorite guy.

Haha...thanks Jigs, seeing you comment on my post just made my day, ab aur kyaa chaahiye! Yes, truly sublime experience even breathing the same air as heart-throb hotwa and enjoying all the buzz! My work day was satyanaash that day😆...but what the hell...Let's conspire to send him and Sanaya to Amreeka...about time too...we might have a Revealed maha edition...and then some!

You bet my dear...an experience like no other...sometimes don't know if it was a good thing or not to have started watching Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? Way back in January 2012...have literally signed my life away since! Haha...something to be said for a sapnon ke duniya that is that powerful!

Lol! I know! I felt that when I saw him in People Magazine. But this Gulf News Tabloid has been a special one because it has come after we were deprived of everything IPK, for years. This Dubai trip, a glimpse of the rage that the show & the lead actors have become-it's been such a throwback to the crazy times of 2011 & 2012. And, there was nothing off or missing on this Dubai trip. Not an interview, not a single photo. I just wish Sanaya & Barun had turned up together for the event-it would be like that magnificent SPL UK event, all over again. Apart from that small thing, there was nothing amiss in this trip. And, it was such a celebration of the show, IPKKND.
