Chapter 2(A)

Finally the basketball court was sorted now.Siyali and her team started playing whenever they are free.Whereas sid was still in her thoughts,he still couldnt forget her smile,her boldness and her attitude.Everything about her is mesmerising for him,he still couldnt get over the closeness they both shared on the court which wasnt noticed by siyali as she was too much into the game.He wanted to take a closer look of her,he wantedly went closer to her that day and those things arent out of his head yet.Usually he ignores infact erases the intimate moments spent with his so-called-girlfriends.But this girl is different,how come a girl who is tom-boy effect him? The ultra modern chicks who dress up taking care that they wear minimun clothes showing off their entire body almost couldnt affect him?but a simple girl who hardly cares about him effect him so much that he had been thinking about her since yesterday? His trance was broken by his friends who entered sid's room.Sid had been lying on the bed staring at the ceiling with a smile on his face.Charlie who came out from the wash joined his friends who are talking among themselves watching sid.Sid looked here and there in his room to only find all of his friends staring at him.They were talking something among themselves and eyeing sid which confused him more.They came to sid and sat on his bed making sid sit up on the bed,he observed them as they eyed each other and finally charlie nodded at them.

Charlie-sid!Its just we want to say something,he said trying to act dead serious but laughing inside.

Sid-About what?,he said confused about what they wanna tell them.

charlie-Woh..siyali..she!,he said gaining more attention from sid.

sid-siyali?What happened to her?, he said concerned

Charlie-Nothing she came to know about this challenge.She may come to you any moment in college today,he said breaking the tension.

sid-What?But how did she come to you?Who among you all told her because only you knew about this challenge.Who told this to her?Now what?What should i do?She will kill me.Oh god i dont know what to do,he said catching his head as he got up from the bed walking to and fro.

His friends who were watching all this broke into fits of laughter after sid's reaction.

sid-What?Why are you laughing?Dont tell me you are kidding all the time.Im gonna smack everybody now,

he said as he tried to reach them to hit them laughing as he did that.They all ran away laughing from him,as sid chased them.

Sid headed for shower removing his shirt,he stood under the shower thinking about her.How he is gonna win her?How is he gonna impress her because he tried showing off his game skills yesterday but rather the reverse happened.In midst of all,he suddenly thought what his friends were talking just now,What if really she comes to know about this challenge?She is gonna know it at last anyhow.How she is gonna react?what is he gonna say?.All these thoughts were running on his mind.Coming of the thoughts,he exited the washroom wrapping a towel around his waist.He stood staring at his clothes opening his closet.What is he gonna wear now to impress her?He started throwing away all the clothes on the bed searching for a perfect outfit.After searching for long 20 mins,he found a perfect dress which could kill any girl.He got ready and headed towards college.As soon as he reached,all the girls who saw him pounched on him like lion pouncing on his prey.All trying to touch him,impress him to be his girlfriend.Finally after getting rid of everybody,he started searching for her,siyali.At last he found her in canteen with her friend, krissane sipping her hot chocolate. stood there at some distance admiring her,staring at her lost in her beauty,in the way she is talking and her smiles.

His friends approached who were in canteen as well.They surrounded him and the girls in the canteen were awestruck watching their heart hacker.

Charlie-So whats the plan today my boy?he said tapping his shoulder breaking him from trance.

sid-what plan?Oh about siyali i dont know im gonna talk with her i think,he said heading towards the counter to order some food for him.His friends made an evil plan,the occupied all the vacant seats leaving one chair at siyali's table.sid taking his food turned around to find a place to sit.But all thanks to his friends,He only found an empty chair at siyali's table.He requested his friends to move and give him place but they denied.Left with no choice,he headed towards her table,holding his sandwich and juice in a tray.siyali gave an look when he stood by their table eyeing both of them.sid smiled at her managing to hold his tray with single hand,he waved hi to her.But much to his dismay,she rolled her eyes and ignored his smile and greeting.

siyalii-What?,she said angryily as krissane looked at the duo.

sid-All the chairs are occupied,if you dont mind can i sit here?,he said sweetly.

All his friends seated in the adjacent tables were observing everything.Siyali looked at them and glared.A glare was enough for them to look away.Siyali looked at sid and at kris.krissane looked at sid and sid signalled towards siyali.kris smiled and asked him to sit where as siyali looked anywhere but him.sid thanked kris and sat on the empty chair eating his food and getting lost in siyali.Siyali and kris soon got engrossed in talking whereas sid was smiling at siyali's talks,her antics.Sid's friends nudged him to say something.sid realised he have to talk to her.He cleared his throat little loudly to gain the girls attention.As he wished,siyali and kris looked at him.He smiled at both of them.

sid-siyali i want to talk with you for 2 mins alone,krissane if you dont mind?,he said pleading kris.

Siyali-Why?No way,siyali eyed kris as if she is gonna kill her if she will move away.

Kris-siyali,i have to call utkarsh okay i will meet you later,she said as she quickly moved away before siyali could say anything.kris smiled at sid as she left.

sid-Thank you beautiful lady,he said to kris as his flirting mode was on.siyali rolled her eyes on his words.

sid-siyali,i know you dont like me and all but i just wanna say thanks to you for yesterday

siyali-Why?,she asked maintaining her temper.

sid-Till yesterday,i was so over-confident that im the best player of this college,you know kind of male pride.

But all thanks to you that you proved me wrong and removed my over-confidence.Im not ashamed of losing to a girl

instead im happy that i came to know that girls arent weak as we think, he said genuinely.

siyali-Oh hello!i dint play to prove you or somebody else.I just played my best for the court,she said rudely.

Though she was affected by his words,she dint wanna show her good to everybody as she thought everybody will take advantage of her good nature.Instead she always tried to be rude to everyone always.

sid-I know but still just because of i realised how wrong i was in thinking about women.All thanks to you siyali for that.

Anyway thanks for letting me sit here and for letting me talk to.Im never gonna disturb you again.Bye,he said as he got up

from his place and flashing one of his best smiles.

All his friends were shocked seeing him talk like this.

siyali also stood up and was about to leave but turned to look at him who was already with his friends talking something.

siyali left after looking at him and smiled to herself.

sid's friends were shocked rather confused how he is gonna win this challenge when he told her he is not gonna

disturb her?They asked him why did he say that and he replied that its his way of dealing girls.He praised her to come

in her good looks,he said covering up what he said.Actually he dont know why he was so genuine when he told all that to

siyali and why he told all what was in heart.But just for his friends,he told them that its one of his tactics to make her

fall for him.But instead he doesnt even know why he opened upto her and talked all this.He himself thought of something

else but he kind of spoke something straight from his heart.

Chapter 2(B)

As said,sid never came to her to talk and wander around her,he dint disturb her further.Siyali also took it lightly as he dint bother her,she also dint bother him.Sid dint miss any chance to admire her,he used to go to watch her play BB.He used to watch her in canteen,in college corridors talking with her friend,krissane.He watched her sipping her favourite hot chocolate.Her dressing,her smiles and her facial expressions,but in all these he always admired and got lost in her from far but never went near her.Siyali also watched him with his friends laughing,talking with them and playing BB but she dint let him notice that she was watching him.Krissane was seeing all this and was happy atleast her bestie is slowly coming out of her shell.She even told this to utkarsh about sid,how they both to fight and how they are now.Utkarsh is like a second friend of siyali other than krissane,who knows her and her emotions,she always saw a brother in him.She always wanted a brother who would support her and protect her but being the only child,she is glad that she got brotherly friend.

Siyali and sid were walking towards their class,siyali walking krissane and sid walking alone browsing his phone.They were coming the opposite direction.They both came infront of each other.They both stopped what they were doing to look up,both were lost for a moment and smiled.Siyali moved towards left to leave,whereas sid also did the same.Both smiled and moved towards right,again they were about to clash but in all this,sid's girl fans rushed towards him and banged into him making him stumble,he restored his position but his bag fell down.Siyali bent down to pick up the bag and few papers which fell down whereas sid was busy in trying to get rid of the girls.Siyali picked up and papers to see and got to see those are member cards of few women and girl child empowernment societies.She smiled at them and glanced at him to give a happy smile and put them in his bag and arranged it properly.Finally pushing those girls,sid turned for his bag only to find with siyali.He smiled at her as she handed back his bag and she gave a wide smile at him.Krissane who was watching all this,nugded siyalia dn both turned to leave but after walking little sid turned back to look at her and found her walking away with krissane.He smiled and turned to leave whereas siyali looked back at his retreating back and smiled back as she continued walking away.

Siyali and krissane in canteen in lunch hour having lunch.Sid came there and placed his order alone,his friends left to stick with their chicks.He frowned as he found all the seats occupied and as usual found an empty seat at siyali's table.But he dint wanna go there and disturb so he turned away.Krissane who had seen him as siyali's back was facing him called out for him and asked him to join them.He slowly came there taking baby steps and sat beside krissane's chair away from siyali.He smiled at her as she looked at him.Siyali returned back his gesture and continued talking with krissane whereas sid munched his burger gazing rather adoring her.Siyali looked at the duo and stared at sid as krissane and sid started talking smiling all the way.Both of them looked at siyali who looked angry as both of them pretended to forget that she is there.Sid laughed at her as siyali tried to gain there attention by putting her hands in between their faces.She pouted as krissane sticked her tongue out teasing her all the way sid trying hard to control seeing her cute baby pouty face.He just wondered how can she be so cute and beautiful at the same time?He then noticed ketchup near her lips and signalled her to wipe it off and she picked up the tissue as he directed her where to wipe.At last she wiped it off with his help and krissane winked at her teasing.She blushed and looked down at her plate whereas sid smirked at her antics.

Siyali was running in the corridor as she was trying to escape from krissane.Few minutes back she teased krissane about KriArsh texts when she looked into krissane phone.Krissane chased her as siyali was badly teasing her and ran away taking her phone.Sid on the other side was trying to escape from his girl-fans.Both were running without looking where they were going.Siyali hid in Fire Escape as she saw krissane searching for her.Sid looking for hiding place rushed into FE same time.Both banged into each other as the the doors of the FE closed which resulted in siyali slipping on the stairs.Sid caught her by her waist to save as siyali clutched his shirt tightly with one hand whereas her other hand was around his neck for support.Siyali slowly opened her eyes only to see sid looking at her with love.Both of them were lost in each other as sid held her protectively.Their trance was broken when they heard girls shouting and searching for sid.Sid slowly made her stand properly as siyali tucked her hair starnd behind her ear.How he wished he did that?Siyali blushed and averted her gaze from him as she found him staring at her.Sid also looked away as he felt her nervous under his gaze.Both of them looked at each other and smiled.Sid and siyali peeped from the door only to find krissane and other girls near to them and both laughed silently seeing them search for them.Sid held siyali's hand tightly as he saw those girls coming FE.Siyali looked at him and their interwined hands and blushed red.Sid slowly peeped again only to find them gone,he then looked at siyali to find her staring at their hands and looked up to him.He also blushed little and looked up at her.Hair was coming on her face and his hands itched to tucked those back.He slowly lifted his other hand and touched her face slowly as he tucked those strands back smoothly.All the while both of them lost in each others eyes.Later he released her hand and she gave a shy smile to him whereas he stared at her intently.He did a happy dance in his mind as she gave that shy smile.Now his mind and heart are far away from that bet.He totally forgot that he should pretend to love her but he is actually falling for her.Siyali unknown to all these was slowly trying to accept her feeling for him.
