Parineeti C Walks away from Sultan due to Anushka Sharma

Parineeti Chopra has reportedly walked away from Yash Raj Films' Sultan' because of Anushka Sharma.

DNA India reports that the makers of the film were planning to cast Chopra for the second lead in the film, while Sharma would have been cast as the lead. However, rumours suggest that Pari turned down the film as she did not want to play second fiddle to Anushka.
Reports say that Chopra will soon start working on a Farah Khan movie. She has been away from the spotlight since Kill Dil', which bombed at the box office earlier this year.
Yash Raj Films is yet to officially announce the cast of Sultan', which stars Salman Khan.

Gosh a Farah film...was Kill Dil being a disaster not enough????😆

So no Sultan but a Farah film is on cards...wow great comeback choice.

Also she has "supposedly" signed Premam (malyalam film) remake in telugu opposite Chaitanya...only good film she has in her kitty.

She didn't want to play second fiddle to Anushka or second fiddle at all? I have in general found most actresses to be open about playing a non-lead if it's a role with substance, it's something I really admire them for. And If they've done a good job, they've always gotten noticed. So I find this is quite silly.

If that's the case, she should have just stuck with the movie. Any movie is good at this point. She managed to steal the show in LVRB, she could have easily done it again.


I can't help but think though...maybe she didn't "walk" away but actually was replaced? It just seems so silly for Parineeti to walk away from a YRF film after months of no work...

Pari shouldn't be insecure because in every movie that she played second fiddle whether ladies v, she stole the show from anu who was the lead in that movie

Something is better than nothing, so Pari should have taken this.
