Pushpa enters the scene. GC says to her that the ladkewaale have returned the Shagun due to budget issues. Pushpa says its a very small reason to return the Shagun .GC says the clothes don't concern him, it's their way to belittle him as they hold all aces.They have no option and have to obey what they say. GC says its a very big responsibilty to get Rachita married off.
Sumitra is worried. Sumitra scolds her mother as to why she did that (regarding the budget). Her mom says she did it so as her first move should be so hard that Chaubey would never dare to do something regretful again. Sumitra is tensed as no one has still called up from Chaube's house and her mom calms her. Mr.Gupta comes and tells there' a phone from the Chaube's. Chaube says he will stay mindful regarding the budget and clothes next time and will meet their requirements. GC asks why they returned the Shagun. Sumitra says when did they return the Shagun. She said she put gold ornaments for Rachita in a packet and they might've been replaced. GC is doubtful. Sumitra asks him to trust her. She tells that she and her family will come themselves to take the Shagun and they'll discuss about the wedding further too.
Uma asks Mantu to stop eating fast. He says there's a lot of work pending and he's late. Uma says she'll come but Mantu refuses. She says why and wants to protect him from Amaya hurting his self-respect. Mantu says she won't and has forgotten her and leaves. Uma is tensed. Mantu leaves saying its all due to Rama's promise and plus he can handle himself.
Guptas enter the Chaube Nivas. They taunt GC and his family saying why have they not arranged a special welcome for them with an aarti. Kaushalya goes to bring a thali. Sumitra asks Rama's bua to have a look at the house. She checks and says its too weak. They call Sneha a bhagodan (a runaway girl) Then Sumitra's sister taunts them saying the girl's mother left/ran from the house. Amaya gets angry. Rama goes to check on Mantu. Rama's bua tells them why the girls haven't touched their feet till now. Sneha asks them to do so and they follow. Sumitra's sister says they have recently patched up. She continues saying there was a big fight few days ago and now its all solved. They're a very funny and dramatic family. GC tells them to forget the past.
They keep passing their taunts as they comment about GC's old house, about their past, how they treat their guests. Rama introduces Mantu to the Gupta ladies. Bua praises Mantu. Rama's masi tries flirting with Mantu. he sees Amaya jealous and follows the flirting. Mr.Gupta taunts her. Amaya tells them to start talking something real now. Rama's grandmom taunts Amaya and Amaya retorts. Everyone is upset and angry
Mantu leaves the hall with Rama. Rama tells Mantu he wants to meet Rachita in private. Mantu calls him mad. Rama pleads and makes him agree. They both go silently and reach. Rama enters the room. Rachita asks what he's doing here.
GC asks her to take the Shagun back. She says it wont happen again. Sumitra says her mom is a priest already so they wont require one. Amaya goes to have a check on Rama-Mantu.
She goes to Rachi's door and is about to knock as Mantu comes from behind and put his hand on her mouth to stop her. She tries speaking. He tells her to be quiet and tells he will tell her everything.
Rama says he wanted to meet her urgently that is why he came. He asks her to say I love you. He says she's given him a lot of happiness by giving a nod for the marriage. Rachita says she is too happy :)
Mantu tells Amaya to clean her lipstick mark. He cleans it for her. He says he did it so no-one gets a wrong impression about them. Amaya is confused and then she wipes Mantu's lipstick mark with his handkerchief for him. She repeats his dialogue about impressions
Rudra suspects RamTu. Mantu waits for Rama. Amaya tells him to calm.
Rachita asks him to leave. He returns the bracelet he bought for her when he confessed first. He tries making her wear it but Rachita refuses. She gives her hand back and makes him wear it. She says she's given her nod, isn't it enough. He says fine, his marriage is enough of evidence for their love. Rama is about to kiss Rachita's hand as she takes her hand back. Someone knocks. Its Amaya-Mantu. RamTu hide and when Rudra comes he sees nothing. He then sees Mantu downstairs and is still doubtful. Rama's grandmom says wedding is auspicious for 7 days later. They fix the date. All are happy. Mantu congratulates Rama.
Precap: Rama's grandmom says they'll have to do a ritual by evening. Mantu prepares for it. Rama's bua hides an important bag of the mango leaves. GC taunt Mantu for it. The 3 Gupta ladies enjoy it..
