Other solution is to make voting period shorter (2-3 days) rather than 10-12 days. There were a lot of rumours that Amit is ahead by big margins and Sony wants him to be winner which made Amit fans slower in voting and Prashant's fan started voting vigoursly.

Shorter period means less rumours and fair chance for fan's to vote.

One would be like american idol where you can send like 10 votes per device or something 😳
