Katrina Kaif is not too concerned about not having essayed a female protagonist oriented role in her career so far.
Katrina Kaif said: "Scripts that are women oriented in nature have not resonated with me. I don't know if that is my fault." (Source: Varinder Chawla) Katrina Kaif is one actress who has worked with top rated stars in the industry from the start of her career. While the actress today falls in the top notch bracket, it is also pertinent to note that she has never been a part of any female-centric movie unlike many of her contemporaries. However, Katrina Kaif is not too concerned about not having essayed a female protagonist oriented role in her career so far.

"I say yes to a script whenever it touches my heart. I have been fortunate enough to have had good offers. Scripts that are women oriented in nature have not resonated with me. I don't know if that is my fault," said Katrina Kaif.
Despite having been a part of many commercial money-spinners, Katrina doesn't exactly have a dream role.
"I do roles that inspire me as an actor. It is up to the director to convince me and you get sold on his vision. There are things that I need to connect to before saying yes. I don't have a dream role. Every script is unique and you don't know when that next big film will come. It is not for you to dream about something. In my head, I could dream of being in a period film or I would want to play a girl who is dying of cancer and yet having such an amazing attitude towards life or a girl with a broken heart who to take revenge turns into a psychotic killer. It's all about what scripts come your way. I hope directors with good stories come to me who I am able to connect to," says Katrina, who is gearing up for the release of Phantom' opposite Saif Ali Khan.
