does too mny movies
bt no idea why his recent movie didnt do well...frm the trailer i thought it'll become superhit atleast...bt still there is time so lets see

He does way too many movies for a calendar year

I remember in 2007-08 he was known as king kumar.

Not all films need to make 500Cr to be considered good or whatever. He is the ONLY one of the older brigade that actually bothers to balance his films out now. He does many films a year..it would help to cut down, but still at least 1 is worth watching in the year...which most of the time is more than can be said for others. Sure his films could make more money, but his contribution over the year is more or less the same as the other big stars giving 1 film.

Akshay needs to seriously slow down with his 5 films per year. If he's such a workaholic then maybe he should get into business or other aspects of film-making. It's like he's there every two months in the theatres so people aren't excited to watch him. Exclusivity is extremely important in his case.

What he lacks is that he does not promote himself - he has no 'Satyamev Jayate" or " Being Human".

He tried but failed.

He started some self defense school for girls, a Karate tournament.

But all efforts failed to get him publicity.

One needs tact which he obviously lacks both in choice of films and attempts to build a brand.

BTW, Aamir and Salman films were breaking records even without Being Human and SMJ.

SRK also has no charity but is far bigger than so called "no less than Khans" superstar Akshay Kumar!

His Baby and Gabbar are also not clean hits. Mere coverage stuff isn't hit.

He was, he is and will always be behind Khans.
