BB for oscars. Good greif. No wonder people dont take BW seriously. If this the best it can come up with then God help us.

Baby?? I mean seriously??

Haider was last year. If I had to choose from last year I would have gone with Ugly. Haider a close second.

This year from what I have seen Masan and A Margirita with a Straw are very good. I still think though that Wazir will be the movie of the year. Those three will make the top three by far. Unless some other unknown movie comes up and surprises.

I am yet to watch Masaan but from what I hear from the reviews, I think it's the best contender.

BB is a brilliant movie but hardly Oscar-worthy. From what I make out from the reviews, neither is Piku or Baby. No clue about NH10.

Haider can be sent but I doubt it will be shortlisted by the Academy. Also, if at all, shouldn't it have been sent for the last one?

Indian entry is not restricted to Bollywood so there are definitely more choices. Anyone knows any strong regional cinema contenders?

Edit: Can Qissa be sent from India? Isn't it like a coproduction of a lot of countries?

I would like to see BB getting selected as It was an awesome Film full of emotions & with a really strong message . It is been loved not only in India but in Overseas as well . So hoping for the best .
