![]() Ishq Ka Rang Safed - Written Update (17th July 2015: Episode 7) Scene 1: the episode starts with Viplav's mom taunting and accusing her husband Shambu, Viplav's father regarding the broken glasses who is sitting in the living room holding a newspaper. She continues by insulting him and saying that he acts like a kid and is always breaking things. She is very annoyed and angry and adds that they are Viplav's grandfather's, Dasharath's glasses and they are very important as he has to read all of his important prayers and notes etc with those only. Shambu tries to explain that he didn't do it intentionally and it was an accident. He adds that he was just trying them on to see if his vision and eyesight is alright. Just then Viplav enters in the background coming down the staircase and witnesses the argument between his parents. Shambu's wife snatches the glasses off him and insults him by saying that he won't become Babuji by trying on his glasses and his devotee had gifted him that glasses frame from America. Shambu answers back by saying it's good that it's a gift because if it was brought by his own money then it would have been more upsetting. His wife argues by rhetorically and angrily questioning him that if someone gifts you something then, are you meant to break it?! He tries to explain that he didn't mean that and she's misunderstanding him unnecessarily. Just then, Viplav enters the situation and politely asks his mother to stop it and makes her realise that she must have broken something in the house in her life at some point too and mistakes happen with everyone so she should stop this taunting of hers. She starts acting all innocent *evil background tune plays* and explains her side of the story that she was just worried if some guests come to the house then how will his grandfather read a single thing and she didn't mean to say anything mean otherwise he knows how much she cares for his father. He carefully listens and smiles in approval and walks up to his father *background tune ends* who is standing there looking dismayed by his wife's harsh treatment towards him. Viplav adds that his father cares for her the same way and that he loves her a lot. She looks like she disagrees by this. Shambu explains to Viplav clearly there's no need to say that - since love is a feeling that is expressed by just feeling it. His wife looks down in disappointment in herself. He finishes off his statement by saying that there's a lot of difference in saying something and actually doing it. Then, he just sarcastically smiles and walks away from there. Viplav looks surprised and let down and his mom looks really frustrated by the strong answer she's got back! Scene 2: the scene shifts to the temple. Dasharath, Viplav's grandfather tells Tripurari, his son that he is going to meet his mother as he is very restless and only she can put his mind at rest and ease. Furthermore, Tripurari looks on angrily as Dasharath walks away slowly. The scene ends here. Scene 3: the scene shifts to the widows' home. Dulaari asks Raj Lakshmi, what did you say - why did you lie and make it all up?! Raj Lakshmi says Suwarna was crying, and that she's honest. Badi Amma orders everyone to get back to their own work. When all the ladies leave, Suwarna's mouth is burning from the spicy pakoras. Dhani passes on a glass of water to her and sarcastically but sweetly asks if her maun vrat is over. Tripurari says to himself that he knows Dasharath Tripati very well, and he wonders that he doesn't know why his mum didn't identify Dasharath and his evil intentions. Dasharath praises the woman and tells Durga she has the same charm which she had 25 years ago. He expresses to her that whenever he is with her, all his worries and sorrows go away. She is very shy hearing this and blushes a lot too. He also sings a romantic song for her and holds her hand lovingly. The scene implies that she might be his second wife. The scene ends as Dasharath warmly hugs Durga. Scene 5: the scene shifts back to the widows' home where Dulaari tries to make her stubborn daughter, Dhani eat. Dhani is busy placing baskets full of beautiful and colourful flowers on the table to make many garlands. Dhani is still very stubborn and refuses saying that she has some work to complete first, however, her mother manages to convince her as she cares a lot for her. A sweet scene takes place where they feed eachother as the other ladies look on impressed. On the other hand, Viplav's mother talks to Viplav and tells him that she loves her husband a lot and asks him acting innocent, how should she show her love for him. Dasharath is then very pleased to hear this. The scene ends here. Scene 7: the scene shifts again where...Dhani says that she will go and give the garlands to the shop keeper. Badi Amma adds that she will also come along with Dhani. The protestor/goons come to the ashram to attack Dhani. Viplav is going past from the scene and asks someone about the protestors. He tells Viplav he doesn't know but advices him to take an alternative way. Viplav leaves. The protestors come to the ashram and ask to break the door as they want to punish the widow very badly. Dhaani, Dulaari, Badi Amma and all the other ladies get shocked and very terrified. Dulaari shares with Badi Amma that they didn't do anything to them, then why they are after them so brutally. The Pandit ji asks them to handover the widow to them, otherwise they will burn their ashram as a result. Badi Amma calls Suwarna and puts the sofa (as a protective barrier) in front of the door to close the door. The scene ends here as all the ladies are worried about what will happen next. Scene 8: the scene shifts as everyone in the ashram tries to protect Dhani and holds the door tightly from opening. Badi Amma and Dulaari bravely stop the men from coming inside from the upper side of the wall. Dhani reminisces Viplav's words that he didn't know that his joke will turn so serious. A rickshaw puller informs Viplav that the protestors want to kill a woman. Viplav gives him 500Rs as a tip/prize for letting him know. The protestors/goons violently throw fire lights inside the ashram. While everyone is busy to blow off the fire, Dhani comes outside and requests the protestors not to punish the ashram ladies. She explains to them that she didn't do anything and is innocent. Dulaari asks her to open the door. Badi Amma too asks Dhani to open the door. Viplav comes there and looks on. Pandit ji lets everyone know that she is the woman who deserves to be punished. Viplav asks them all to stop right there. The scene ends as everyone is shocked to see Viplav interfering in such a strong way. Scene 9: the scene continues where Viplav is seen protecting Dhani from the protestors. He shouts at them and asks them how can they punish someone innocent and weak woman in such a hurtful manner plus how can the whole city stand up like lions together just to punish and hit a woman! He simultaneously pushes Dhani back so she isn't hurt even a bit. Dhani's mother looks on helplessly at the happenings through the door which is shut behind Dhani and cries to see her daughter treated like this. Viplav confidently questions all of them if they have any daughter in laws, daughters, mothers, sisters etc in their homes or not?! He later politely and patiently asks them straightforwardly show some patience towards this matter and not to behave in such a cruel manner. Unfortunately, the protestors argue and refuse to understand and make it clear to everyone that whoever will "mess" with their religion and culture or values/rules and even try to break them will be punished in such a cruel way no matter what. They say that they won't stop by Viplav telling him to. Viplav explains this is not right, at all. The people question afterall, who is he to protect her?! Viplav protects Dhaani and asks the people to call the police if they will that she has done anything wrong or unforgivable and not to take the law in their hands. Scene 10: the scene shifts after a lot of arguments and aggressive shouting to a more violent approach by the goons. The people start throwing many hard stones at him for speaking up against them and also on Dhani to hurt her. However, Viplav takes it all on his back. Him and Dhani get pushed against the wall behind. Both, Dhani and Viplav look into eachothers' eyes as Dhani has tears running down her eyes and looks all angelic and innocent just then Viplav has a passionate but protective (for her) look on his face. *Ishq ka Rang Safed music audio plays* admist their heartfelt eyelock. Dhani admires how he protected her and bears all the wrath of the people, with no qualms. She sweetly looks at him with gratitude as he very gently places his hand on her head just so she doesn't get hurt on her head so badly like he did! Aww! <3 She cries and has a very sorry look on her face as he is very badly injured on his back, head and whole body due to all those stones. *The Ishq Ka Rang Safed song keeps playing till the end of the scene* A shot of the women in the ashram who are crying a lot is shown. The scene ends with continuous violence but love and protection blossoming between Dhani and Viplav as he protects her right till the end. Awww! <3 The final scene and the episode ends here. ![]() |
