I liked the relationship in the beginning also but I didn't like that he slapped her for drinking. Many actually wanted Gayu to snap out of the love business for Rana and come out of her dreamworld but me no I don't want this,I like that about her character, I think hindi serials for a girl you must remain innocent, loving to all and always hopeful because that's where her hope is coming from, that's what I believe with her because she's a dreamer, and the CV's now are showing her carrying on staying in love with Rana despite her mother's insistence to put this aside and accept her mother's choice for a husband. He gave her hope with wearing that handkerchief of hers that she gave him and now she will write to him. So the slap was useless and didn't work.
But by that slap the father gave her, I didn't like it, I don't like that sort of parenting she is a grown up and he shouldn't hit her, to discipline her even 1940 or now even.
But the serial is dragging to the marriage, which I don't like, I would prefer they fast forward now to the marriage and see Gayatri in the palace and see what will happen there.
You know initially I was one of those advocating to back the CV's and let them tell their story without pressure to change from us the fans or the TRP's (hopeful that Zee TV is not like other channels to make them change the story). Because we were enjoying the show after 2 or 3 days but now this last week its dragged and where its going is becoming boring with the old man introduction for Gayatri, I just wish they could skip this rubbish and show us Rajmata's proposal coming to the house and move on from there fast forward to Gayatri into the palace. I am ready for her to face problems there, but let us see her overcome those challenges.
