I disagree... This year has been great from recent times. What it has been best at doing so far: Not let the trash survive even if it boasts of "safe" packaging. 👍🏼

It is the nature's way of restoring balance! All films that were worthy got commercial success. I am thoroughly satisfied and hope it is a teaser to a greater 2016.

True it has been an underwhelming year as far as the quality of the movies are concerned. On the contrary, great year as far as box office is concerned though!

True! This has been a very underwhelming year in terms of hits and BO success and only a select few quality products have survived. All the movies that I thought will be huge hits failed miserably (BV, DDD etc.) while the ones I thought would flop did exceptionally well (Piku, TWMR, NH10 etc). It's refreshing to see such small budget movies do well on the BO. :)) I'm glad that the audience has started accepting hatke films instead of the same mindless masala films :))

It's going to be interesting to see how Tamasha, Dilwale, Shandaar, BM and PRDP fare at the BO.
