I DON'T WANT MY FARMER'S TO DIE...PM ...ARE YOU LISTENING

I DON'T WANT WOMEN OF MY COUNTRY HARASSED...ABUSED...AND BRUTALLY KILLED

I WANT MY COUNTRY TO FIGHT FROM DISEASE...POVERTY...CHILD LABOR...

THE DAY I WILL CELEBRATE MY COUNTRY'S INDEPENDENCE DAY

At the stroke of midnight when world was sleeping, India was awakened to Freedom and Nehru was giving his famous tryst with destiny speech. Happy independence day TM and everyone.
Just want one correction, Either it is Union of States or it is Republic of India.
Article 1 of Indian constitution says
India, that is, Bharat, shall be an Union of States.
After 26th January 1950, it became Republic of India. Before that it was dominion of India.
Pakistan remained dominion until 1956.
