2007 sure seems to belong to Akshay Kumar as he has been reported the highest Bollywood tax payer of the year. The actor has paid a whopping Rs. 26 crores ($6.5million) this year in taxes as he has signed a couple of big budget projects.
Last year, Hrithik Roshan was the #1 tax payer with Rs. 15 crores ($3.75 million) followed by SRK at Rs. 14 crores ($3.5 million) and Akshay was far behind with only Rs. 6 crores ($1.5 million) owed in taxes.
2007 seems to be a different story as Akshay has made a jump of Rs. 20 crores ($5 million) as he has a line of movies like 'Heyy Babyy', 'Tashan', 'Bhool Bhulaiya', 'Tasveer', 'Made in China' and 'Joker'.
Numbers sure seemed to have worked for Akshay Kumar, who was born on September 9th and as 2007 (2+0+0+7) adds up to 9 as well.
So this happens to be his year as he is bagging the best projects and is looking worth a million bucks as well in his new lean physique.
Akki is in no mood to stop as he greeting all his projects with "Heyy" with 'Tashan' all the way.
