I am gonna watch for Tabbu.. It worked because Ajay didn't try comedy here.. Comedy is really not his genre.. !

After its second weekend, "Drishyam" broke the records of "Badlapur" and became the ninth highest grosser of 2015.

"Drishyam" entered in the top 10 list of highest Bollywood grosser of 2015, which includes "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", "Baahubali" (Hindi Version), "ABCD 2", 'Gabbar Is Back", "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" and others.

Ajay-Tabu starrer also broke the lifetime box office collection record of Varun Dhawan starrer "Badlapur". Varun's movie earned an income of approximately Rs 50.07 crore in its four weeks run, which was shattered by "Drishyam".

Meanwhile, the lead actor of the film Ajay had previously said that the makers are not expecting the film to do a Rs 150 crore business.

"I am sure 'Drishyam' will do well. With today's market changing box office fate of such films depend on word of mouth. We are not expecting this film to do Rs 150 crore business at Box Office. This film is made with a limited budget and if it does decently and covers the cost, its good. If the budget is big then it's a problem," Press Trust of India quoted Ajay Devgn as saying
