Will it be obsessive love from Viplav's side?

So, the promos and Viplav's initial characterisation has made me think- will Viplav's love for Dhani be obsessive, to begin with?

If we look at ViDha's interactions, Dhani is becoming a sort of enigma for Viplav- she doesn't react the way he expects her to and that's what draws him to her. He is intrigued and at the same time angered by her. It's a heady cocktail of emotion that keeps her on his mind.

From the promos, where Viplav says, "Main Tumhe Paa Kar Rahunga, Dhani", it seems like he will first start off thinking of Dhani as something to be won over by his charm. It definitely irks him that she is different and is not deferential to him like the rest of Varanasi.

So, I think initially his love might be driven by junoon and zidd, a need to possess Dhani. Later, as he sees how life has scarred her and how he will be affected by it, his love will mature and flower into something more solid and supportive.

Very well agree with your point. His love for Dhani will be obsessive initially as you stated. The guy is unaware of harsh reality and he will learn bitter truths of widow's life once he enters Ashram. The scenario will definitely open his eyes.

He truly is unaware of how life can affect those who are not as privileged as him, but falling for Dhani will open his eyes to society and its double standards. I think Viplav has immense potential for growth and he can definitely be Dhani's pillar of support.
