In the initial episodes when Tappu was a fourth grade kid and she was pretty young she was shown to be ignorant about romance or anything. Now when her son is at least 16 years old in the story, she is shown behaving like a teenage girl drenched in love.

Her phone call to Jetha and 'choti choti baatien', is it not for newly married ones because iif you have spent atleast 17- 18 years of married life with your partner, you no longer make calls to talk about daily life during working hours. About Aloo Bhindi, you can talk at home.

Now, that raises another interesting topic. When Bagha talks to Bawri or meets her during working hours, Jetha is on fire but he himself fails to explain the same to his wife. Why such double standards ?

U might think this way but for a Daya jetha fan like me it was a treat..since Jeya never have romantic scenes coz its a comedy show..daya jetha ke fans ko telephonic conversations se hi kaam chalana padta h..though it was not much romantic on jetha's part still I found it cute..

Mostly love vanishes between middle aged couples but daya jetha set an example that love can survive till this age too by doing small things n gestures for each other
Afterall new married couples are seen getting romantic in every show..but ye thoda kam hi dekhne ko milta h..

However these r Completely my views...u might think diffrnt

Totally agree with you. We Daya jetha fans die to watch their romantic scenes. That was not very romantic but since their sweet scenes have reduced. I pray so many times for their romantic scenes like we saw before. This is not that they never had romantic scene when Tapu was in school. And their sweet scenes is the beauty of show. She had been romantic on telephone many times before too.
Yes, earlier sometimes she ignored Jetha's romantic gesture but it was because it's comedy show.

I didn't mean she shold not be romantic or something. What I meant was that it doesn't suit her age at all.
Being romantic is an art and you can be that all your life but ways to show it changes with age. That's what I was talking about. Anyways, thanks for replying.

There are people poetic by heart who enjoy nature's beauty very much, it is more personal nature than age, I see now a days even very young people have no sense of classic romance, appreciating the moonlit night, taking a walk, writing a love letter or romantic poem...they just date, coffee and "hey baby", "hey sweety"...but i see even my old gran ma talks shyly abt her marriage...Jetha seems bit immature and more hard core practical , but Daya seems the abstract type...she said the deep things of love and feelings that true love knows no hunger, no money...nothing...and it is very possible and nothing strange about it.

I am someone who is indifferent to Daya-Jetha romance...I don't particularly like or dislike it...but I just stated that some people are poetic, romantic, ideal and abstract by nature and it shows always, other people are casual and superficial even in young age.

About Daya not knowing things about romance earlier...see it is complicated...

I will try to explain...it is very possible for un-romantic people to know what happens in romance, courtship and marriage...may be experience or peer group...a single, virgin romantic person may not exactly know what goes on in a relationship due to practical inexperience...but if his/her nature is highly dreamy, ideal and intense in terms of love, then he /she believe is true love and can believe in soul mate relationship etc...(where as the other experienced person who knows what happens and stuff, may not believe in true and ideal love)...moreover if this person is simple and a nature lover , the feeling of love will enhance it...like a fool moon and in turn the full moon, the ocean, the weather, the rain all can enhance his/her longing and love too...This is a general and real-life analysis , I do not know about Daya, but surely the idea that teen-agers can only drench in romance is a myth.

Pardon me but which myth are you talking about ? When did I say only teenagers drench in romance ?. If you read the title of the post you will realise its not about romance but the romantic ways of the character.
Daya calls Jetha to inform about Bhindi and all and then her body language and voice during that phone call is too much annoying for me. In fact such scenes if done face to face will show her as a mature woman. Calling your boyfriend or husband at workplace for no good reason happens in the initial phase of a person's life. What's wrong with this character is consistency. Had her character been consistent like that of Madhavi's or Sodhi's then such scenes would obviously make sense. Such romantic scenes are suddenly pouring in after Babita- Jetha flirting scenes have been reduced. I have no objection with love or romance. Just make a little more relatable. I found no logic why Bhindi was a matter of discussion for Daya now . ' Main kitne kadam chali wo bhi bataungi'.. Like really ? Ab yahi bacha hai is show me.😆

"Now when her son is at least 16 years old in the story, she is shown behaving like a teenage girl drenched in love."
Well this was the sentence that said only teenagers can drench in love...and I have full right to say what I think, as I do not think only teenagers can be madly in love, no one has to react personally.

If I had said that Jetha is behaving like a ferocious tiger would that would mean only tiger is a ferocious animal ?

I told like a teenager drenched in love. It means her attitude about love is that of a teenager girl and not like a mature woman. I think I have clarified how you show you love changes with time and age not only here but several times before in different threads. FOr example the very second post of mine in this thread says

"Being romantic is an art and you can be that all your life but ways to show it changes with age. That's what I was talking about "

You have your rights madam and I have mine. I know what I said and I believe its clear enough.Nothing personal here but all for discussion sake. Thanks for replying.
