GOSH!! I should have seen this at-least by the noon ; but so occupied with IKRS' that got to see this in the evening. It is in a local hindi newspaper. So I m translating all as it is in pure hindi. It's a very big promo with 3 paras and three pics of the show. BUT , NOWHERE THE MENTION OF MISHAL ; BIPLAV'. Thought to share with u all.

MAIN HEADING = WHAT SIN THEY HAVE COMMITTED IN THEIR LAST BIRTH?

PARA 1: with a large size pic of dhaani in her widow avtar, offering prayers to goddess Ganges , with some water in her hand , standing in river Ganges and it's a same pic which is even on different social sites. She is looking beautiful and bold too as a large portion of her navel is also exposed. It's a bit hot too. so the 1st Para is like this:- " I asked them; why u r living a life full of remorse ? They answered = we have committed a sin in our several previous births'. So this is the story of several widows living today on the pious land of Banaras, those are living in thousands of ashrams, where they all are leading a life of imprisonment".

PARA 2:- several widows are standing in a queue on a ghaat' the river-side, while offering their prayers to river Ganges and sun. And expect them not a single person is standing there, the whole ghaat is empty. The 2nd Para start: - "where today, our country is progressing towards development, on the other hand , the widows are treated like untouchables in the society. Where in our country, there exists a right of widows to get remarried, there in Banaras , a widow can't even think of getting re-married. Even the societies don't give chance to a young widow to decorate their lives for a second d time. Where do we understand that in today's India, a woman enjoys the same rights and freedom, there only a custom is imprisoning, the thousands of lives .

PARA 3: in this pic, all women are standing on assi ghaat', offering prayers to goddess Ganges BUT there is no ta single widow among them. It's a large scenario of assi ghat of bananas where thousands are boats are [laced in a queue. PARA -3 is : "COLORS channel is portraying a same kind of story with a new show ISHQ KA RANG SAFED . this is a story of dhaani = a 20 years old girl -a widow who is entangled between the religion and love. From the land of Banaras, a new story is coming from 10TH AUGUST, EVERY MONDAY TO SATURDAY IN EVERY EVENING AT 6.30 PM , ONLY ON COLORS.

Thank you very much for sharing this piece of news Sapna.
I had goosebumps reading first para..do widows really believe that they commited a sin in their previous lives ? It is heartbreaking ..I can't think of it. I lost my elder brother 3 yrs ago. His wife became a widow at 29 yrs age. No one stops her from remarriage , coz we are muslims..and it is ok. But she is just focussing on pringing up her children.

loving ur's precious comments, dear.πŸ˜ƒ

YEAH , EVEN THE 1ST PARA MADE ME FEEL JITTERY. ALREADY FEELING BAD 4 DHAANI.
re the Indian society: yeah it's vast and broad , more than 7 times of all continents. DEAR, i m saying this because i don't know what happening in these different society. BUT IN THE LOWER AND OURS THE MIDDLE ONE, I KNOW.😊

in ours, a widow is free to get married. no boundation at all.totally positive.but a woman of elder age, mostly don't marry, i as a girl, don't like this. every woman who is willing to marry ; should become a bride.πŸ˜ƒ but still in some orthodox society, it still happens; i know.

Loved you comment Sapna.πŸ˜ƒ

Thanks for making me relax. πŸ˜†

Even in my society ..some ppl badmouth women who get married after their hubbies deaths. They say these women should take care of their children in steed.πŸ˜• But as a married woman with kids I can say it is very difficult to manage taking care of kids when your hubby is alive..it becomes more difficult after his death. 😭

to say the truth; these customs, co-called tradition s are made by men folk only and only to suppress the women community at large. BUT the women those , themselves eager to force these so-called nonsensical thoughts , i think they r enemy of themselves and a bad omen on the name of women. why to blame men always, from centuries these r the women only those continued to follow these kind of rotten customs, and in turned weaken the voice of a lady.

so i conclude, a woman should do 4 herself what she thinks r8. why every-time a woman have to suppress her happiness her aspirations ???

i guess what u have summarized is ... in practical with u. i mean i don't want to offend u. u r my sweetheart.πŸ˜ƒ so really all walls should be broken. i BELIEVE IN EQUALITY.

I am happy that we start discussing these matters even before the show starts.πŸ˜ƒ (OMG ..can't wait 😭).

Well. I agree with you. 😊 I believe not just in equality..I believe that women are stronger than men. They can do every thing by themselves. Men (specially in East and middle east ) depends on women to take care of house..and support them financially some times. Women work hard at home and at work place. They don't complain.

In my hometown ..when a man dies ..a woman live a long life lonely most of times.πŸ˜• But when a woman dies ..a man remariage soon. Coz if he didn't he will die soon after his wife. I saw this happening in many cases.😊 This proves that women are very strong. ⭐️

But ..as you said..society : men and women force women to stay between limits. πŸ˜• This has to be changed. I hope this show helps in woman empowrement.πŸ˜ƒ

Again, this advertisement is in Hindi and consists of 2 paras. And 2 pics.

MAIN HEADING = DOING LOVE, FOR A WIDOW, IS A CRIME??

Para 1:- a large pic of dhaani, with her hair all open, but totally covered by her saari, with a red metal, brass, in one hand and in another , a cane basket, of big size with some white clothes in them. The pic shows that dhaani is going to have a bath, in the river Ganges BUT not before offering her prayers to goddess Ganges. So the Para starts like this; = "a widow don't have a right to love. Getting remarried is the point which is far by leaps and bounds; even it is a sin for a widow to have an eye-to-eye contact with a man. For a widow, serving god, is the and should be the only love for her; without any make -up or any decoration, leaving every act of entertainment, is life which a widow should be used of to live. It is said that if any man who wants to marry widow, his 7 future generations comes under preview of the curse. These are only some of the traditions and rules which are made for widows, which the widows living in Banaras do follow. These rules, while in a city which is full of colors, are making the some lives COLOR-LESS.

Para2:- we all have seen MR's pic with a sky-blue shirt with black trousers. The pic is on assi ghat' BUT in this OR better say, that scene is al together new. Mishal is standing in-front of dhaani, with a red box of sweets in his left hand and trying to give the sweets to dhaani. Many people, like priests are standing surrounding them and ate literally frowning them [bipdha] at this act of biplav.

Para 2 starts like this :== Colors new presentation- ISHQ KA RANG SAFED , is a story which will have a meeting of you with dhaani and biplav whose lives get to meet on the river side of Ganges. Dhaani a widow of 20 years, who have left all the hopes of having a happy life in her current birth of hers. Biplav, who is a grandson of a famous priest, mahant', of Banaras, loves her and wants to bring dhaani out of cage of traditions and society. Whether by breaking all the norms of traditions, would the love stand? To know, watch ishq ka rang safed, from 10th august, every Monday to Saturday, every evening at 6.30 pm, only on colors.
