Ranaji's uncle berates him for losing the deal and refusing Mr Wilkenson. Ranaji tells him how important the farmers are and how they are the permanent residents. He further adds that few Hindustani are helping the foreigners, insinuating that the water tax goes to the Uncle and the foreigners' treasury. Chachaji takes offense and pretends to be innocent. He tells him how Rajmata signed the document. Ranaji stands his ground. Rajmata confesses that she had no other choice but to sign it since their debt was large.
Ranaji consoles her and promises to safeguard her from the uncle's cunning nature and the foreigners' greed. Back at Gayatri's house, her father asks about his daughter. Gayatri's mom says that she's unwell. Gayatri in her room, recalls how Ranaji saved her and their moments. Govindseth comes and fondly inquires about her well being. She asks him why the notion of right or wrong differs for a woman. Her dad tells her by the will of God, its the same for both but for humans, the notion of wrong is more for a woman. He tells her how this will change with time and asks her to act accordingly to get peace of mind and leaves.
Gayatri wonders why she felt strange when Ranaji touched her and why she doesn't feel different because to her he isn't a stranger. Meanwhile, Govindseth is angry on getting the torn letter from Munshi ji. He vows to break the royalty for their disrespect. Rajmata thinks of marrying off the Ranaji to the princess Sharmila of Indore as this will help them finish their debt.
Next morning, she tells Ranaji that she is sending a special tailor Albert to get his clothes sewn, for a party. A lady tells how this party is very special and elaborates on it by describing its splendor. Ranaji is unaffected by its description as he is more concerned about the plight of the farmers. Rajmata overrides him by telling that the people will not pay for this. Ranaji agrees and also wishes to go to pray for the well being of the people. Rajmata also asks Laksharaj to invite his wife back from her sasural, for the party and instructs Yashoda to make the preparations for their temple visit.
Gayatri while ironing the coat, recalls her moments with Ranaji once more and how he saved her life. She wishes to do something for him. She stitches the image of a horse on a cloth piece. Rajmata instructs Munshiji to announce their arrival to the Indore family especially the princess. Munshi ji suggests that she should invite Govindseth to their party to placate him. She tells him that she would think about it.
Gayatri's mom scolds her for day dreaming as if she was some 'Raja ki Rani'😛 A maid comes and tells that she needs some leave as she wishes to see Ranaji who was to come to the nearby temple. Gayatri becomes excited and tells Kaka that this would be an opportunity for her to give the coat back and meet him and also give him a gift for saving her life. She tells Kaka to cover for her.
Precap shows Gayatri sitting down in the temple. Ranaji comes and gives her something. She expects more but he passes her. He then comes back to her again,puts his hand on her shoulders and makes her get up. She looks at him expectantly!
