i don't have knowledge about Indian law in detail so will be helpful if someone guide me on this How Mannu and Pooja's wedding can become legal when the marriage is not registered but a temple marriage of under age children an illegal act and the priest who conducted the marriage is in jail being punished for his crime?
Same way i never understood how Jagya and Anandi's marriage became legal Yes what they told was if child groom and child bride after reaching legal age of marriage if don't annul the marriage their marriage becomes legal but was JaAn marriage registered that they could annul it legally? what they have shown Bhairon was himself clueless and was quite nervous in front of lawyer because even he knew the marriage is illegal and a crime committed by him and his mother When JaAn marriage have no registeration No document was there neither anyone tried to legalize it then how come marriage became legal?Marriage be it , it is conducted in religious way A legal document is there in every society which is proof of marriage being done Without that how marriages become legal the way it is shown in this serial i am very very confused at it

apart from what @fzstafa__ posted...which makes NK marriage invalid...while UK marriage valid.
Its obvious that one cant register child marriages as they are illegal at the first place.
Also until August 2013, Under the Hindu marriage act (HMA) , the Marriage registration wasnt mandatory for marriages. So if one chose to register their marriage , its good enough otherwise wedding photographs were taken as marriage proofs even for adult marriages.

So Since Ja-An was child marriage <<voidable not void, legal after 18/21+2>> + registration wasnt compulsory ...that makes their divorce valid.

Also the HMA makes Kamli-Pushkar marriage invalid with its clause.
" at the time of the marriage, neither party though capable of giving a valid consent, has been suffering from mental disorder of such a kind or to such an extent as to be unfit for marriage and the procreation of children;"

While I am not sure if M-P marriage though a child marriage , needs nullification...Since both the involved parties has agreed though pretending (M-P) to understood the stand and are ready to live separately.
Guess the "consummation lie" has done the deal for everyone...& thus they are relaxed for the kids to again behave as normal unmarried kids / friends.

M-P BV cant be registered due to BV's illegalities & since they both were happy enough to click their marriage pic...they have proof too...only for further drama🤢

Has Anandi's assurance that Pooja aisi ladki nahi hai made this much impact?

Their marriage is going to become valid just as anandi-jagya's child marriage became valid... That is why I said in another post why jagya is not contacting the legal advisors to sort this issue out. Has he learnt nothing from his own experience, that is of his own child-marriage?

@bold these chances are very very high...then someday when somebody will question M to get married...He will say "I am already married to pooja".

Even now , If asked about his reason for concern for pooja...the answer is going to be "bcoz she's my wife" & not bcoz she's a good friend of mine.😡

These two didnt understood till now that what they did is wrong😡

& what is the annulment procedure for these kind of mutual consent child marriages...where none is interested in parting ways?😕

Creatives just jump from one track to another without bothering to show proper message. Or may be as forum was speculating - they can bring pregnancy track. Even if they bring that track - parents and Anandi are still guilty of not making proper closure of this elopement and marriage.

J and Gauri too had a proper temple marriage. They were adults. They consummated their marriage and would have had babies too if the miscarriage hadn't happened. Such marriage had ended with a slap and J was convinced too of re-marriage withing a couple of months😳. And then he wrote a good bye+ sorry letter on listening to a guest/refugee/not-so-close-friend's suggestion. People never spoke about it later and tried to make it look like it never happened.

My point here is, if such a marriage could end without any proper annulment , Pooja-Mannu's marriage will be a joke to them. They aren't even adults yet. No wonder their parents aren't thinking of it in detail😳.

It is sad the way they show marriages like a joke. But Pooja Mannu marriage will become valid if both Pooja and Mannu was to remain husband and wife and do not change their opinion about the relationship.

As regard marriage registration as some members pointed out - we don't know in which year BV is now - is it 2015 and if so was before leap period was sometimes in 2004? Or the pre leap period was in 2015 and now it is 2026 in BV calendar 😆. Because marriage registration has been made compulsory only recently (and perhaps BV creatives are not aware of this) because none of the marriages -perhaps not even the marriage of vakil was registered.
