But do you know what Shaandar is all about? We have the dope. Read on!
DESTINATION WAALI SHAADI!
Indians are known for the much talked about fanfare and glitter they showcase at their big, fat wedding ceremonies. But slowly one wedding trend that's catching up with the masses is the idea of a 'destination wedding'. Shaandar is just about that and more!
MUJHE NEEND NA AAYE!
Shaandar is also the story of Shahid and Alia who play insomniacs and are unable to sleep at night. While Shahid actually suffers from insomnia (His Shabbakhairs come really late on Twitter) and he's admitted to it, we wonder if Alia too suffers from sleep deficiency like her co-star. But nevertheless, in the film, they do play sleep deprived lovers.
SHAADI MEIN LOVE!
The story goes like this: Both Alia and Shahid suffer from insomnia in the film and fall in love in the middle of a larger than-life wedding during long, sleepless nights. Yes, the two meet at a destination wedding and end up together. Ho gayi na shaadi mein love? Now that's possibly an age old formula used in Bolly land! But with Shaandar and Vikas Bahl directing it, one can expect a certain amount of novelty.
