Bajrangi Bhaijaan crosses 300 cr !!(article and update)

Salman Khan's 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' has crossed the Rs 300 cr mark in India and has become the second highest grosser in India after PK. The movie, which released on July 17 has been running for three weeks continuously and had earned Rs 250 crore last week.

'Bajrangi Bhaijaan's third week collections have been good. On Friday (July 31) it earned Rs. 4.11 cr, Saturday (August 1) - Rs. 6.80 cr, Sunday (August 2) - 9.07 cr, Monday (August 3) - 2.75 cr, Tuesday (August 4) - Rs. 2.63 cr, Wednesday (August 5) - Rs. 2.45 cr. With this the total earnings of the movie shot up to Rs. 300.06 cr.

The movie has crossed Rs 300 cr in mere 20 days.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the figures:

The movie has now become the second highest grosser in India after Aamir Khan's 'PK'. Taran Adarsh tweeted:

On the occasion of 21 years of Salman Khan starrer 'Hum Apke Hain Koun', the Kabir Khan film hit the right chord. Apart from minting money in India, the film is doing really good business overseas as well.

In the recent years, ever since Salman Khan made a comeback with 'Wanted', he has been releasing his movies on Eid. All his movies that were released on Eid have entered the Rs 100 cr club, and Bajrangi Baijaan which showcases his innocence onscreen has been liked the most by his fans. He has played the role of Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi, who is a true follower of Hanuman and has very simple ideologies.

Apart from Salman, who has won accolades for his role, child actor Harshaali Malhotra, who played the role of Munni has been receiving appreciations from all over. Nawazuddin Siddiqui played the role of a Pakistani journalist Chand Nawaz and Kareena Kapoor Khan is seen playing the love interest of Salman.
