@ Shruti and Visha: I'm expecting any day now for an article to come out saying GG is ending at the end of August or something. SP has never really done well with different nature shows it seems. Now Hats Off is coming with a new comedy show along the lines of their other shows like BDSAH and SVS. I have full expectations that that show will also end abruptly thanks to SP.

@ Shruti: The thing that I see happening is that Anirudh proving that Anahita is Mayuri's daughter, but Jaitley being adamant that Saloni is Mayuri's daughter. Then Saloni's truth coming out, Jaitley experiencing heartbreak, and then maybe we'll see something of a "happy" ending. My answer to all this melodrama is 3 letters: D N A. DNA testing people, DNA testing. Whether Jaitley likes it or not, part of his DNA will be in his granddaughter. And that test will prove everything.

A finite show always come with a finite story and cutting from that story is really bad. SP cannot expect 4.2 or even 3 for shows like GG. They will have limited audience.
SP has strong regional and international presence. Why cant they take dubbed versions of 26 epi shows abroad. EHT the show which SP cut down is currently playing in Srilanka and is dubbed in Malayalam too.
Ok have vent out my feelings now coming to epi I feel the difference between Jaitley and Anirudh is their age. Jaitetly badly wants to believe Saloni is Mayur's daughter and has come to him. At his age when ego goes you need a supporting hand.
Whereas Anirudh though he is sure wants to confirm before he takes a decision. He wants head to validate his heart, whereas Jaitetly is forcing the head's need on the heart. Because Jaitetly tells in mind " Is she Mayur's daughter".
Only Anirudh's approach is correct. You validate your feeling, the reverse can always be disastrous. First can give pain in short term but will ensure long term happiness whereas the other gives you short term pleasure but life long pain

Well said. A finite show should be delivered with the promised number of episodes regardless of their ratings. The ratings should not affect the flow or the planned story.

Yes, Anirudh is taking the right approach but again the way Mr Jaitley assuming Salooni as his granddaughter is against the character itself as he is someone who doesn't trusts anyone easily. There should be some sort of connection or bond for it to be convincingly show that he thinks Salooni is his granddaughter. We saw such connection between him and Annie but sadly he failed in his judgement.

Because it just doesn't make sense how out of nowhere Mr. Jaitley suddenly starts seeing traits of Mayuri in Saloni. Anahita has done so much and Anirudh noticed the traits but Mr. Jaitley didn't. Excuse me? And just from one night when Anahita speaks the truth, but Mr. Jaitley sees Saloni, he starts believing Saloni is his granddaughter? Sounds too much like a daily serial.

I have a feeling that Anirudh knows that there is more to that car then Anahita told him. The way he was looking at her just gave me that feeling. And the fact that he tells Neil to spy on her is just adding to the suspicion that he has guessed who she may be.

I do like the Anirudh angle still though. On one hand he's trying to do the best for GG and on the other hand he's trying to sort out the problems with Pallavi. The perfect way to show a man who loved work too much and is now trying to find a proper work-life balance too late.

Wonderful take on the episode shreya...I agree that this jaitley-Saloni angle is a bit difficult to digest...but like you I also liked anirudh's part in the episode...poor guy felt for him a lot...let's see how Saloni gets out of this...guess anirudh will find out about Saloni also...overall it's a good show...A well made one...waiting for tonight's episode...
