Shah Rukh Khan allowed to enter Wankhede Stadium, MCA lifts ban on Dilwale' actor after 3 years

Mumbai, Aug. 2: Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan is now allowed to enter in Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai after the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) lifted his five- year ban on entering the stadium. The Managing Committee meeting of MCA was held on Sunday in Mumbai, and the committee decided to lift the ban on Dilwale' actor which was supposed to end in 2017.
According to a report, a section of the MCA wanted to lift the ban on Shah Rukh Khan since the actor accepted the order respectfully' without trying to enter the stadium at any stage.

Shah Rukh was banned from entering the Wankhede for five years after he indulged in a scuffle and heated altercation with a security guard and the MCA. The incident took place in May 2012 after an IPL game in which KKR beat the Mumbai Indians. The MCA also decided not to challenge the ban imposed by BCCI on cricketer Ankeet Chavan acquitted in spot fixing case.
