I'm trying my hand at writing episode analysis/reviews for the first time so brick bats welcome. I am hoping I'll be able to post these on a daily basis. Let's see how that goes. Please feel free to post your own comments and views about the episode and please feel free to agree or disagree with my point of view.

It was supposed to be the big revelation day, the one that would put all the pieces together and have us go "oh wow! So that's what happened!". Though all of us had pretty much guessed it already.
Sneha Chaubey/Agnihotri/Mathur - I am not sure I sympathize with the character at all. She fell in love, got married in secret, made plans to elope, her "husband" ditched her, she found out she was pregnant so she ran away with another guy? And her family, not even her mother who still loves her to death, had any clue whatsoever? She didn't even mention any of this once to her mom? She said she was afraid of her dad but what about her mom? Is it just to me that this looks like Sneha was desperately looking for a means of escape? From her family? In one of the earlier episodes when the girls get to know GC is their nanaji, Sneha says "iss ghar mein meri koi jagah nahi.. Na pehle tha na ab hai.." Or something to that effect. Maybe when GC asked her why she didn't tell her family anythig about dev and her and their love, Sneha should've elaborated on why it was actually impossible for her to tell anyone in her family than just brush it over with I was scared of you. Baath kuch hazam nahi hui.
But I am impressed with GC though.. He was unwilling to forgive Rishi and Sneha for eloping for what 20-25 years? And held so much bitterness. But then he is willing to forgive, forget and make amends now that he knows his daughter loved another guy, secretly got married to him and had plans to elope with him. And not to mention she got pregnant too. She ran away with Rishi to "save the family's honor" so now all that is maaf? Khair.. I guess you've got to let go of things at some point.
It's going to be interesting though - this Dev - Sneha track. I think dev is a good guy at heart. It'll be interesting to see how the girls react to all this. Especially Rachita and Amaya. Rachita because she gets to know Rishi isn't her dad and Dev is; Amaya because, if and when Sneha and dev do decide to get together, how will Amaya accept someone taking the place of her superman in the family? Or will Mantu's love have given her the clarity to realize that dev won't ever be able to replace her Superman but she will have to accept him as a part of their lives, especially her mom's life?
That brings me to the leads - Mantu and Amaya. The Bin Tere song somehow seemed a little ill fitted on them. I think Yeh Dooriyan suits them better but that's entirely just a personal opinion. I liked that despite the fact that he was telling himself he should've nothing to do with her since she doesn't care, as soon as he finds out about the strike, he rushes to her. And when he meets her , it's probably the relief of having seen her, the love that he was trying to hide that made him forget his anger at her for not calling or texting him once and blabber about the strike. Boy! Did Mantu look angry when Amaya rode away with Rudra on the bike or what? I guess Mantu was taking his bhadas out on Rudra intentionally during the fight after all eh?
Now, I'll be honest. I've been waiting desperately for this rain fight sequence to air ever since I saw the SBB segment. But I was disappointed. Not with the scene or the acting but with the editing. It would have been so much better if we had close up shots of Mantu from the moment he caught that goon by his neck to all the thrashing. The intensity, pain, anger that Dhruv portrayed would have been captured so much better with close up shots than with these wide angle shots. We could have done without seeing actually how Mantu punched the guy if we'd gotten to see the ferocity on his face as he punched them. Even when he raises the kettle at Amaya, we don't get a close shot to see the pain and the anger on his face. What a pity! But I loved, loved and absolutely loved the way Mantu asks Amaya why she wants to know why he did all this. That one "kyun" he said had it all - his heartache, his pain, his frustration, his love.. Everything. Hats off Dhruv! For pulling off that simple one word dialogue with such beauty!
I like that Rudra is taking a back seat and watching the happenings. I have a feeling Rudra can, knowingly or unknowingly become a catalyst in ManYa's love story. Isn't it the golden opportunity for him if he encourages Mantu and Amaya, knowing that the Chaubeys or Sneha herself might not be too happy with the rishta? Khair. That's a thought for another day.
Coming back to Mantu, darling, please.. Please.. Just say it.. Say that you love her so Amaya can be free of that ridiculous oath she took. I wonder how Mantu will react when he gets to know of this bet between the two girls? In a way it was objectifying him. Hmmm...
Anyways, hopefully tomorrow if Mantu does confess, it'll be shot at close up so we can enjoy the amazing acting abilities of Dhruv.
