Today's episode of DAK, was a very long audition tape of Karan's

Starting off with Damini and her usual drama of expressing disapproval about Diya staying in HER home. A lot of yada-yada about samaj, the world, society etc etc (since when did she turn so traditional?) How it's not a robbery or some such crime but a rape (Hain?? She's talking as though they are giving refuge to the rapists themselves 😲!) Aniruddh and the rest of the family also try reasoning with her when someone makes quite a dramatic entry calling out to "Diya..." I honestly thought that it was Cheeku so it was quite an anticlimax to see the douchebag's face ! Shaurya babu also clearly felt the same going by his bemused expression and his pointed question: "Tum, yahaan kya kar rahe ho?" had the right amount of sarcasm in it. Poor Diya finally seeing her fiance runs to him and pours out her worry and troubles and then starts the DB's "performance" 😵:

- He was bed-ridden and the doctor ordered him not to place a toe off the bed *cue Shaurya's suspicious face*

- He did not know what had happened, he was made unconscious by those goons

- He was overly concerned about how she was that's why the moment he was able to, he came running to meet her *cue Shaurya's suspicious face*

- Don't worry I'm now here, everything will be fine. I'll make everything alright now *cue Shaurya's suspicious face*

- And on being asked to take her to his home, he comes up with lame excuses that his mom is against their relationship *cue Shaurya's suspicious face*

- He will sort things out with his mom and take her to "their" home

Urmi again reassures her and even Aniruddh declares his decision as final that Diya will stay with them for as long as she wants to, and offers the family's full support (except Damini)

Shaurya doesn't take his eyes off Karan for even a second...and even Mr.DB knows it 😵

The days' events and one setback after another has completely drained Diya and she looks as if there is no fight in her left Urmi takes Diya to her room and looking at her defeated form hugs her in comfort.

Shaurya catches up with Karan outside. That "Oy!" held so much promise of a fight 😈 but alas he seems to be saving it for another day 😒 Anyways Shaurya makes it known that Karan's performance hasn't been impressive enough for him. And here Karan gives Audition 2 - yes, whatever he said inside wasn't exactly true, but it's all because of his mom. She's dead against him seeing Diya anymore but still he came to see her since he cares about Diya blah blah blah . Shaurya babu is still not impressed and he definitely smells a rat. Karan clearly has a motive for coming there and it surely isn't out of concern for Diya.

Finally a proper scene with Shaurya and Cheeku where one expresses his sadness in not being told about Diya and the other apologizes for it. Poor Cheeku He still finds it hard to believe his best friend became a victim of such a heinous crime. Damini again makes her displeasure known about Diya, while Urmi and Shaurya sit helplessly in silence. The atmosphere is going to get really really difficult in the Sinha household in the coming days 🤔.

Audition 3 - Karan is again with Diya feeding her some lame "story" about how he couldn't save her and how he could never forgive himself etc etc. The final straw was when he said he was unable to eat or drink anything yet when food was served to them he literally couldn't stop eating while Diya was still unable to make herself eat 😡! She's worried about the trouble Urmi-Shaurya were taking to accommodate her and feels she could never repay them their kindness. Karan offers to take her back home and convince her parents to let her stay.

Precap: The DB is calling up the media and asking them to reach Diya's house and how the news should be splashed across all the channels.

CVs, can we please have a fight tomorrow with Shaurya smashing this guy's teeth in 😡??

Thanks a lot dear for the detailed review...I missed quite a bit today - and loved the way you observed Shaurya's suspicious looks and described Karan's "Auditions"...really, need a lot of patience to listen to DB 😡 I just hope he gets what he deserves from Shaurya and Diya soon..
