My Review on Saawariya Album

Ok usually when I lisent to an album I have a habit to just skip through the songs, if I dont like how the song starts out than most likely I wont listen to it....but with Saawariya i had decided to listen to every single song, becuase it is a musical love story and I epected the music and the song to be good....and after listening to the song the two words that instantly came to mind were that this album is:

Magnificently Beautiful !!!

1.) Saawariya- Title Track
Singer: Shail Hada
Comments: When I first heard the song in the promo I instantly fell in love with it. The music and lyrics had a young and fresh feel to them which perfectly suits the young and fresh jodi of Sonam and Ranbir. The singer did an awesome job...loved his voice! I was a little disappointed that the song was short, but none-the-less i enjoyed listening to it.

2.) Jab Se Tere Naina
Singer: Shaan
Comments: Love the lyrics! And Shaan has done it again, he has always been a winner with romantic songs and has again scored a hattrick.

3.) Masha-Allah
Singer: Kunal and Shreya
Comments: A very romantic number, and to be honest I am no fan of slow songs, but I still listened to the whole song, and I must say it had very nice lyrics. I really loved the lyrics!

4.) Thode Badmash
Singer: Shreya
Comments: Before I comment on this song, I have to say that it kind of reminded me of the song "Iisshh" from Devdas. Shreya has one of the most sweetest voices and done very nice job with the song, lyrics are also very nice.

5.) Yoon Shabnami
Singer: Parthiv Gohil
Comments: It this guy a new singer? If he is then my god he has a fabolous voice, I loved his voice, background score for the song was AWESOME! Especially after 4:16 the music that plays I just love it.....it was really nicely done. Over all another winner song in the album and actually my 2nd most favorite.

6.) Daras Bina Nahin Chain
Singer Richa Sharma, Shail Hada and Parthiv Gohli
Comments: I loved how the song was started, the music in the beginning was very nice. Richa Sharma has one powerful voice and she did full justice to the song. Over all another beautiful composition and the background score was just fab!

7.) Sawar Gayi
Singer: Shreya
Comments: Another beautiful compostion and Shreya's sweet voice perfectly suits it. Again this song also had great lyrics.

8.) Jaan-e-Jaan
Singer: Kunal and Shreya
Comments: A nice duet and Shreya and Kunal did a very good job with the song. The song does give a feel of the 70's, and another decent track in the album.

9.) Pari
Singer: Kunal
Comments: A pretty slow number, I personally didn't like it much.

10.) Chhabeela
Singer: Alka Yagnik
Comments: The meledious queen has again scored with a beautiful and catchy song like this. Alka did an awesome job in singing this song, and i loved this song, becuase its the only fast paced song and its really catchy.

11.) Saawariya
Singer: Shail Hada
Comments: Awesome song to end the album. Slower version of the original title track, but still great to listen to.

So overall I really liked the album. Sanjay Leela Bhansali thank you for including these songs in your movie....the songs will look great in the film.

Sameer: the man behind the beautiful lyrics.....each songs has very nicely written lyrics in it.....definitly Sammer has done a great job.

Lastly Monty, congrats as you have just earned a hit music album, the ablum will appeal to many and will be appreciated. You provided great music and it will make this musical love story awesome.

I will not say that Saawariya is the BEST album of the year....but it is definilty ONE OF THE BEST

Wow after hearing your review i must hear them have you brought the album yet?

i havent bought the album....i have a friend who emailed me the songs....and thats how i listened to them....but the songs should be on the internet tomorrow......the songs all are slow paced except for Chhabeela which is a fast catchy song....but all the songs have real nice lyrics and at times the background score really catched ur attention

Wow i'm impressed but which song do you think will best picturize their chemistry as you've heard the songs.

I liked all songs...Saawariya title track is mindblowing.....Masha-Allah has a qawalli in it...so its an over all an awesome song....and i loved Chhabeela fast and Alka rocks the song

Chabeela is Rani dancing in that i think but the one where Shaan sings is him and his Dhoti 😆

Parthiv Gohli was a sa re ga ma pa singer when sonu was hosting it. he's one of the best clasical singers we have these days... 👏 👏 he came late but just awesome.it's good that SLB remembered both Sherya and Parthvi

i didnt know that...thanks for the info.....even i was wondering if this is his first song or not...since i had never heard of him.....but his voice is REALLY NICE.....he was awesome in the song Yoon Shabnami
