SidM is not a very good actor but he's loads better than people claim he is & tries hard. Hard work is all it takes to make it big!

Sid as an actor n dancer is under-rated... he was good in both in soty,.. in HTP choreos made blunders and everyone ended up labelling him as a non-dancer... [ppl need to watch #AsIAm vdeo]
in brothers, trailer shows he has really worked hard on expressions part and not to mention on his physique too...

he is 1 hard working guy,.. acting was neither in his genes nor his blood, yet he is working hard,.. and has fetched decent fan following despite of these shortcomings..

It's amazing that someone with a 100cr movie behind him and a much anticipated film with a very popular trailer ahead of him is almost being discussed as a has been.

ILB... we are just pissed off.. you see,..

we missed Sid for 13 months on screen,.. and here he is coming back with sucha mega-projex without any hype... fox n dharma is not promoting movie well..
in that period others did 3,3 movies,.. even A Arjun kapoor gave 2 movies and is shooting for third..
we just think its too early for him to do 1 movie a year like Aamir n HR,,

and what if even Brothers does a 100 crore,.. he would be never never applauded here...
he is doing multis only, his fellows will get away with all limelight...

Agree about the dancing bit.

His subtle performance in HTP is also underrated. It was one of the few romantic comedies that I enjoyed in recent times and it was good to see that he never went overboard with his expressions.

Sid was pretty fine in htp,.. he controlled his expressions well,. neither hyper nor hypo...

in EV he worked fine in tuning expressions,.. the negative thing was that RD was much better at expressions[ofcorse he is here for more than 12 years] and Sid's character was the character with no humane feelings,.. all his lively scenes with Shradha were shot well..⭐️

I understand what you are saying. But honestly I just don't look at things that way. I don't think he's trying to follow in Aamir's footsteps. I think he had to wait a while to bulk up for Brothers, and then Bhavesh Joshi got shelved so he ended up with some open time.

As for him not getting any credit, well not getting any credit where? I think the media and the general public will recognize and appreciate his efforts. As for IF? Ehhh, IF is IF. Honestly there are only a hand full of Bollywood personalities that are liked here. Who cares?!
