Subscribe to Newsletter Sachin Shroff aka Abhi in 'Saath Phere', just recently died an expensive death on the show. The production house has spent Rs 8 lakh, to make sure his demise looks as convincing as possible.
Sachin enjoyed his negative role in the serial, and loved the fact that he is not going to be bumped off in a convenient manner. "The production house worked very hard on this particular scene. They called 60-70 artistes for 3-4 days, and there were many stunt artistes as well," he adds. The scene was shot at the helipad area of Film City.
And what was the experience like? "I was very scared as I was dressed in a kurta and pyjamas, and I was wearing Kolhapuris which are very slippery," he recalls. He has, however, done all the scenes himself, except the one where he had to jump, back first, into nothingness. He adds, "Pia(Niyati Joshi) tries to save me, but when she recalls what I have done, she decides that I am not capable of living in this world and hence goes back".

Sachin is happy that his cameo role in the serial ended well, and now his role in 'Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai' will become a more prominent one.
