Yes the contest was between these 3.

There was some old magazine in which AB sr himself had named these 3 together as future superstars. It turned out to be kind of prophetic.

yeah from the early 90's only they were touted as the potential superstars...and these three proved that they were right... not only one but all the 3 today are at the same pedastal ... hats off to these 3 guys 👏
