Ranju dii bless you for this post 👏😆
I couldn't even watch the scenes properly! I can't see ravish getting beat up 😆I remember the scene where girish and gattu beat him up, I was almost screaming at my tv 😆 I have to remind myself it's just a tv show 😆And that underwater scene with Mugdha getting stuck under water, she was so amazing! For someone who has a fear of water she did amazing 👏 hats off to her!But now vihaan is missing :( if I have to see ravish getting beat up again ...😭😭

Btw ratings are falling continuously 😳 The CVs have done a fine job of wrecking the show by ignoring ArHaan and focusing on puke-worthy characters for the past four months 🥱🥱 The whole of last week was dedicated to that ridiculous wedding drama that no one was interested in 🤢 [/quote]
Ratings tell a sad tale. The CVs are clearly struggling with pacing and characterization. There's so much story to tell for Vihaan-Aarushi, Mini-Raunak, and even Harpreet's husband (who was foreshadowed a bit during a couple of episodes in June). They needed high-energy tracks to help recover from the over-lengthy tedious Priyanka track, which weakened the show's momentum and characterization. Instead, like you said, they chose to focus on characters the viewers aren't invested in, so it's no surprise the ratings are slipping. Between the first week of July to now (Wks 26-28 for BARC), the focus has been on the Psycho obsession and the Pandit wedding tracks. Last week, so much precious airtime was given to Kasturi's melodrama and wasted on Psycho Vibha's insane thought process, her lurking, and her reactions. It also didn't help that both Aarushi and Vihaan were written as naively accommodating to her. Btw, it boggles my mind the CVs are doing this obsession track when ratings earlier this year during the Gattu period already showed viewers dislike interlopers in Vihaan and Aarushi's relationship.I share your hope, Ranjana. After a 1.4 in WK 24, they got a 1.7 in WK 25. That was the week the Rani made the Moms think Vihaan was kidnapped and Aarhan were finally given the chance to work together to stop the Moms from giving in to Arvind-Rani's extortion (late June). So rebounds are possible. But to do that, the CVs must stop strangling and watering down their own story for lengthy periods or they will indeed have a difficult time getting back viewers. Last week was hit hard as expected. Hopefully the current attempt at damage control brings results and it will have to continue in the coming weeks. Viewers need to trust the CVs for whatever time Zee gives the show, so I guess it will come down to the CVs not being stubborn, being smarter about what [BARC] viewers want, and making better character/plot/pacing decisions in the coming weeks. That was more than I expected to say. 😳 But we're on the same page. It's hard to place BARC viewers precisely, but hopefully it's not too late and the CVs are able to rebuild trust and interest within these next few episodes. Ravish and Mugdha's performances this week just confirm the wonderful things they're capable of if the CVs just give their characters solid story.

Great thread, Ranjana! It's been a lot time since I've posted, but had to stop by very quickly today. Ravish and Mugdha have brought their A game this week. Such impressive performances, which included Mugdha confronting her aquaphobia to do the underwater scenes. They've been incredible. 👏 ❤️ I'm interested to see what they have planned for Vihaan and Aarushi together once he returns.Heyyy it's great to see your post 🤗 You've brilliantly charted the whole ratings journey of the story. I so wish the CVs would read your post and understand where they went wrong. Agree with every single line in your comment. Priyanka's track was responsible for kick-starting the show's downhill journey. And they actually dragged that sordid tale for two whole months. Did the CVs really think that the audiences would love to see a supposed "mother's" perverted jealousy over her son's marital bliss? ArHaan's roles were reduced to being mere pawns in that woman's repulsive game. I still don't understand what drove the CVs to commit this hara-kiri despite seeing that the ratings were dropping week after week during the track. Unless there were some behind-the-scenes games that we don't know about.
Like you pointed out, there was a big improvement only when ArHaan took some steps together. But that rise apparently gave these CVs the idea that they can once again forget ArHaan. Instead of showing some intelligent and touching tracks that revolve around ArHaan, Harpreet, Mini and Narmada, they once again put the spotlight on some pathetic characters that the audiences couldn't care less about. Now they finally seemed to have understood that people watch this show for ArHaan. I'm also curious about and interested in the upcoming ArHaan track. Really wish to see the old sparks of intelligence and sensitivity in the show. And hopefully, it will not be a case of too little too late.
@bold - This is what I find most depressing. They have amazing lead actors who share beautiful and natural chemistry. Instead of exploiting the advantage, the makers use DhaVish as props to support ridiculous tracks that revolve around useless side characters 🥱
