Both of you make valid points, although both have different views
I found myself agreeing with TM, then the following point by -PD- made sense too

And the crying thing, it didn't mean they pity her, just that they got emotional seeing her first performance, don't know why it is criticized so much...
On the other hand if they do it every time, that could be a problem...
