Varaali, If you noticed, I have carefully not mentioned Vyasa anywhere in this story 😆 The story was not recited at all, since a lot of the major players, at least on the Pandava side, were alive to the end, and available. In fact, they had biographers chronicle the entire story in Indraprastha, and had it spread out far & wide throughout the kingdoms.

Once upon a time, a ruler named Mahabhish was visiting Indra at a premiere of 'Dance, Devalok, Dance', a TV program that was topping the Devalok TRP, er, TVR charts.

🤣🤣

In the meantime, Ganga gave birth to the first of the incarnated Vasus, and went ahead and drowned it. Much to Shantanu's shock. ACP Diler then went to Shantanu and asked him why didn't he do anything to stop her. Shantanu told him about his vow to Ganga, and Diler tried to lecture him about the law. Shantanu asked him what law, and Diler tried to refer him to the law books of 21st century India, but needless to say, that didn't exist then. Shantanu told him that he was the king, and much as it grieved him, there was no law against it. Diler & his entire Shapath team gave Shantanu a Shapath that they'd save each of his babies and bring Ganga to justice.

Funny stories Vrish Da..those two parts were funniest😆I want to read all your ones shots, but would you mind to provide the links in the first page or at least mention the page numbers, I have missed quite a fun 😔I think there are many more one shots in between, I have look through every pages
