Scene 1
The episode continues from the previous part. The team consisting of our trio, Freddy sir, Salunkhe sir, Sachin sir and Purvi di enters the room where DCP Chitrole had fallen and finds him motionless on the ground. Priya hides on seeing them and tries to sneak out, but is spotted by the team and tries to threaten them at gunpoint. Purvi di confronts her and challenges her to shoot, giving Abhijeet sir enough time to silently draw his own gun. As Priya prepares to shoot, she ducks and Abhijeet sir disarms Priya, allowing her to be captured. (Although I liked the scene, couldn't they have let her defeat the culprit single-handedly? 🤔) DCP Chitrole stands up, completely fine, and says he'd been knocked unconscious out of fear on hearing the gunshot. 😛 ACP sir says the bullets in his gun were blanks.
Scene 2
Priya is being interrogated by the trio and the others in a dark room. Priya says that the DCP had forcibly taken her to that room and held her at gunpoint, and she snatched the gun from him; but Daya sir debunks her claims by pointing out inconsistencies in her claims (such as DCP sir being left handed while she says she snatched the gun from his right hand). Abhijeet sir shows her the female robbers' jacket they found at her house and questions her about it. Duo says that she'll be arrested for killing that girl and trying to shoot Chitrole. Abhijeet sir shows her a photo and sketch of two robbers, and she recognizes the sketch as a girl Sonam who works as a pizza deliverer in one Chakram Pizza Parlour. ACP sir sends the duo there and tells her that she must surely be knowing the guy who was killed since his female accomplice's jacket was found at her house. He questions her hard about where the loot is, and she breaks down. Chitrole says they need to perform a lie-detector test on her, and Salunkhe sir tells him to get permission from the court. (This was a very well-executed interrogation scene and the trio was in superb form. 👏 👏 👏)
Scene 3
Daya sir and Nikhil question one of the employees at the pizza parlour and are told that Sonam left a while ago for a delivery. Daya sir asks about her destination.
Scene 4
Sonam arrives at the place she was told to deliver the pizza - a lonely construction site. She wonders who ordered pizza here and goes around calling out for the said person, but gets no response.
Scene 5
ACP sir, Salunkhe sir, Purvi di, Sachin sir and Dr. Tarika are seen in the lab performing a narco test on Priya. It's mentioned that they've already given her three injections and are on verge of overstepping the limits; if she still doesn't reveal anything, they'll have to give up. Tarika questions Priya gradually and eventually the latter reveals that Veer (the dead guy) had planned the robbery. He had approached her because he knew she could assist them because she was a robber herself. She doesn't know who killed him but says the robbery was planned 2 months ago. She then goes unconscious and ACP sir wonders what happened 2 months ago for Veer to start all this.
Scene 6
Our duo, Nikhil and Jaya arrive at the under-construction building and find Sonam's bike outside. They search the place and Abhijeet sir finds a half-eaten piece of pizza near the stairs. They find several more pieces upstairs and the box on the ground, but Sonam herself is nowhere to be seen. Abhijeet sir says something took place there.
Scene 7
In the bureau, Purvi di discusses with ACP sir and Salunkhe sir that a thief like Veer is unlikely to commit robberies at definite periods and the fact that he met Priya 2 months ago seems to be a coincidence, but Sachin sir says that they should not dismiss that fact because Veer had phoned a guy 15 times two months ago, though the calls weren't answered at all. Freddy sir and Salunkhe sir construe that when Veer was unable to contact this guy, he approached Priya for help in committing the robbery. ACP sir asks Sachin sir to call that number, which turns out to be unavailable. He asks for the number's owner to be identified.
Scene 8
Back at the building, our duo and team hears whimpering sounds and finds Sonam lying mortally wounded up ahead. She speaks about diamonds and vaguely mutters about a mountain and factory, before succumbing to her wounds.
Scene 9
ACP sir, Salunkhe sir, Freddy sir and Purvi di visit one Neo Media studio and the lady there looks at Salunkhe sir and says that he's perfect as the protagonist of her film. 😉 ACP sir shows her the mysterious number and she identifies it as that of one Kunal from the art department, who's been missing for two months and his family has been unable to find him too. She provides his chawl address. Salunkhe sir eagerly asks about the film role and she says its that of a psycho doc, and ACP sir teases him. (Cute scene. 😆)
Scene 10
The same team arrives at Kunal's chawl and meets one Deepti who claims to know him, and is worried about him. We see that the other chawl residents don't have a very high opinion of Kunal. Deepti is hesitant to answer questions, but after encouragement by Purvi di reveals that she talked to Kunal's sister Ankita who told her that she knows who Veer's murderer is and it's the same person who kidnapped Kunal; however, she refused to divulge his/her identity out of fear for her brother's life. She didn't see Ankita after that. ACP sir construes Ankita is in peril and asks for her number, which isn't answered. They decide to trace her number.
Scene 11
We see Ankita hiding the bag of diamonds under her clothes and phoning someone, saying she's ready.
Scene 12
We see ACP sir, Sachin sir, Freddy sir, Salunkhe sir and Purvi di in the CID car with her tracking Ankita's mobile on tab. Eventually she seems to stop in some mountainous area.
Scene 13
We see the duo with Nikhil and Jaya arriving at a ruined building in a desolate area, saying this was where Sonam had been pointing to. (Looks a far cry from a mountainous area to me. 😕) ACP sir and the rest of the team arrive at this same spot, tracking Ankita's mobile. Both of them infiltrate the building and eventually end up meeting each other, and thereafter proceed to work together. They find Ankita, and she hands over the diamonds to them crying that she had been asked to steal them as ransom to save her brother. She didn't know what to do and told everything to her fiancee Veer who agreed to help her, and unfortunately got killed. She says the kidnappers will kill Kunal if they don't get the diamonds. ACP sir hands them back to her and instructs her to do as the kidnappers asked.
Scene 14
Ankita meets the kidnappers in the building. As soon as she's about to hand over the diamonds, the CID turns up and holds the thugs at gunpoint. The bad guys draw their weapons and a gunfight breaks out. Eventually the CID team emerges victorious and the lead kidnapper is captured. He says that if he doesn't phone his boss confirming that they've gotten the diamonds, Kunal will be killed. ACP sir assures Ankita that her brother will be safe, and the team makes the kidnapper make the said call.
Scene 15
Ankita arrives at the unidentified boss' den and the man says he has received the kidnapper's confirmatory call, and lets her meet Kunal. Ankita finds Kunal in awful condition there. The boss gloats that he killed Veer and Sonam in order to cover his tracks, and prepares to shoot her and Kunal as well. The CID team arrives in time to knock him down. His cronies attack them and after a heavy fight scene, the team emerges victorious again. Daya sir catches and slaps the boss, who turns out to be Veer's cousin. He confesses that the entire plan was his, but he couldn't rely on Kunal who was an addict and thus decided to force Ankita to do it instead, but Veer got involved too and he was forced to kill him when the latter began to suspect him. ACP sir condemns him and says he'll be hanged for his crimes.
Scene 16
The team reunites in the bureau saying Chitrole or anyone will never be able to create any rift between them. (We all pray so! ) ACP sir says that something is still missing, recalling the bag of diamonds which had fallen on the ground during the gunfight. Chitrole enters, gloats a bit and shows that he has recovered the diamonds worth 40 lakh rupees. ACP sir examines them and then throws them away, revealing that they're fake glass diamonds and he, in fact, possesses the real ones. Chitrole is taken aback and excuses himself, leaving the team to share a good laugh at his expense. 😆 😃
