I said appreciated I didn't say hits. Appreciation is not always box office numbers. It could be critical rankings, awards, audience love etc. At times these quality products also become hits. U said khans and aamir is one of the khan.. But I agree.. Salmans bb is different and really good but before bb.. His movie selections were terrible... Srk haven't had a decent movie since 2008..akshay and ajay sign anything and everything that comes their way.. So with the exception of Aamir
I would have to agreed with u.. I don't know how brave ranbir would be after recent failures..but he certainly has done different movies in the short time that he has been around..

People go to watch Khan films for them only. Young guys haven't earned the stardom when people go to watch films just for them only. That's why their films don't work. Accept reality instead of bashing seniors.

A Khan film might be crap for you but for lot of audience it isn't. It's because they went to watch their fav star. Plus there are many who just want timepass and old fashioned entertainers. Don't blame Khans, Ajay and Akki if new guys haven't been able to please the masses and haven't struck a chord with single screen and small town audience.
Youngsters look childish in masala/action films. They aren't like Sunny Deol, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff who ate into AB's audience in 80s and early 90s.

Masses have clear favourites. They rarely let go of a star easily. This is why even in early 90s some AB flops also earned better than others.

Young stars have to do something entirely different to catch audience's attention. Like 90s actors did romantic and family films based in urban areas which were refreshing change from action films based in rural areas.

If they keep attempting same stuff that previously established stars do then they will struggle to make a mark. Even Hrithik's success has been in superhero and period films where he has an edge over 90s brigade.

One should offer something which others don't have. Or be a better alternative. Only then a change can be expected.

They need to be shiny and chrome
