more than trying to break record exhibitors/distributors want to cash in on the popularity and buzz of the film as they release flop films month after month and big event film is there chance to recover their loses!!

agree...with internet,piracy,TV rights it's not possible to achieve those footfalls...some won't watch the films in theatre as they r telecast within few months... many filmmakers have said it that it's due to this reason that they can make small films...
