I have NOT been offered Ram-Lakhan: Varun Dhawan

Eversince the remake of Subhash Ghai'sRam Lakhan was announced, speculations were rife as to who would play Ram and Lakhan in the film. Then we got the news that Sidharth Malhotra andVarun Dhawan have been selected to do the honours in this Dharma Productions film, in collaboration with Mukta Arts, to be directed by Rohit Shetty. We were relieved that the guessing game is over but it seems we were wrong after all. Varun has denied he was ever approached for the remake!

Yes, you read right. Speaking at event for a brand that he endorses, Varun dismissed the rumour. He said, "I have not been offered the remake of Ram Lakhan." And with that he silences everyone. But we wonder if Varun is really telling the truth or was he asked to stay mum over it. If it is the second, Varun, the joke will be on you.

But we do hope Varun changes his mind and agrees to do the film. With him being the Lakhan, it will definitely be fun. Anil Kapoor had played the role in the original and we are pretty sure that apart from him, not many can be so goofy. Ranveer Singh you say? Well, you need to be goofy with style and not just be crazy! Varun, please say yes!
