Baahubali Hindi Close To Saturday Numbers On Monday

Baahubali (hindi) had a fantastic hold on Monday with collections close to its Saturday number. The film went past its Friday figure as even multiplexes recorded better collections despite lower ticket rates. The first four day business of Baahubali (hindi) is as follows.

Friday - 4,25,00,000

Saturday -6,25,00,000

Sunday - 9,00,00,000

Monfday - 5,75,00,000

TOTAL - 25,25,00,000

The film is now heading for a week of around 40 crore nett and normal cases lifetime would be looking at least double of week one for this type of trend but it remains to be seen how much it can add after the release of Bajrang Bhaijaan. The Telegu version did see a drop in business as the opening was extraordinary in that format.

Baahubali Hindi Holds Very Strong On Monday

Baahubali (Hindi) has held firm on Monday with collections looking set to be close to its Friday numbers. The film should clock up 3.75 crore nett at least and may even go to 4 crore nett plus. The Telugu version has seen a drop in cities like Mumbai and Delhi as it opened to full houses on Friday.

The week can do business of around 33-35 crore nett. On a trend like this the film would normally go to 65-70 crore nett lifetime as Monday figures being close to Friday suggest a 40-45% drop in week two, maybe even stronger hold as its not a huge first week but Bajrangi Bhaijaan is a big hurdle.

The best business is coming in mass areas of CPCI, Maharashtra and Gujarat and Bajrangi Bhaijaan will replace it at all the major collecting single screens irrespective of collections. The film will get screenings in the big multiplexes but these are mainly in the big cities where the film is not as strong as is in the mass centers. The second week will be interesting as it may show the biggest drops in the areas where the film has found good appreciation.
