D2, though a multistarrer, belonged to Hrithik. I don't undermine the contribution by other cast members but I remember back in the day he was the reason for repeat watches.

I agree that the Krrish series (specifically KMG) was a big step to get Hrithik's game back. But he really started taking his career seriously after the 2001-2003 setback and has managed to establish himself outside his father's camp both critically and commercially. Maybe he hasn't given BB's yet (I really don't follow such statistics because I feel they have little to do with one's standing in the industry) but I don't see why he can't in the future. It depends on the script really and also how the audience reacts to it because sadly a good film doesn't always equal a successful film. Aside from the Khans, NO other leading actor today (male or female) has reached the stature where the movie will work solely because of them.
